I am going to see Panic Room tonight! I am so pumped, it looks totally awesome.

Anyone seen it yet?

#1 movie in America if that means anything.  But Ebert and Roeper did give it 2 thumbs up.  Rotten Tomatoes\' (http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/PanicRoom-1112925/) reviews makes it seem like it\'s just an above average thriller.  I was really hoping Fincher could work his magic but I\'ll reserve final judgement till I see it myself.

Tell what you thought about it MINUS the spoilers. :)

btw- Didn\'t know Australia gets the same movies US does on opening day.  Is this true for all flicks?

Well, just came back from it, and boy did I like it.

The visual effects are very impressive, and Fosters acting is second to non, she is a true acting genius. I thought that there was too much comic relief, where the three guys carry on and joke around. I think the relief was there because it would have been too scary and full on otherwise, but then that would have made it even better - like, to have those 3 guys as full on psychos, but then it would hav been sorta like SOTL, and Foster is probably trying to do things alittle more diverse and different.

Still, a great flick. Ending could have been better.

Great suspense thriller.

The ending ended the way it should have. I mean, it\'s obvious where Forest Whitaker ends up. And it ends opposite the way it started : outside.

Yea, I definitely enjoyed it.  If you\'ve seen it, there was one scene where a guy took a horrific shot, ya know what I\'m talking about?  Half the people watching were like "Oh!!" That was vicious, that part. :)
