Title: TMB: Online..... WTF?!?
Post by: CygnusXI on April 05, 2002, 08:55:20 AM
I posted this on another forum too.. Just ranting:)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ok. What gives. I tried again last night to get Online with this game....

After about 10 tries, in which I have to reset the PS2 cause it locks, I get to the lobby... Then I join a game, and it freezes once again.

I tried another 10 times or so but necer even got to the lobby...

So, after about 20 tries altogether I get to the lobby ONCE and never actually played

Are they having server issues???

I\'m currently using 56 freaking K, but I have my ethernet crossover cable on order so I will be DSL shortly... Man, I hope it\'s just a 56K thing.

No. These issues are real.

I\'ve had the game since Monday and I\'ve only been able to play once:( And that was for like 20 seconds before I got kicked off....

I know it isn\'t my ISP cause I\'ve had them (blackhole.com) for years without issue.

So how was that 20 seconds? :p

I\'m sure it\'s just a server problem, but you should probably ask around the internet to see if anyone else is having the same problems.  Most of us here aren\'t lucky enough to be beta testers, so we couldn\'t help.

Have you called sony up or anythin? Its gotta be server related, those things surley arent meant to deal with much traffic, there cant be that many beta testers around after all
