Looks alot better than before IMO.

Thanks Fastson! Nice. For me, any driver typically rocks...and I\'ve always love the NFS series every since it gave me the first "fun" chance to haul-@ss through virtual freeways. This game needs to hurry up and get-in-my-belly!:p
-
Fastson, you rock.
Keep posting everything you find, cause most of use don\'t find even half of it.

Looks top.. seems like the first need for speed game, which isn\'t a bad thing at all.
Out of all of the nfs games i prefer the first one.
Thanks fastson for the heads up.

Thanx fastson. Time to download.... :)

Yup, the first one was definitely the best one. It was actually really good.

Pretty impressed! Only can be bothered to download the first one on my 56k

looks good. Although, the police cars are too fast for my liking (last video). I don\'t like the idea of driving some of the worlds fastest cars with over 300 km/h, while still having cops in their old and ****ty cars in your rear mirror. :(
They should try to make it more realistic. Making the police cars as fast as you doesn\'t make the challenge more enjoyable.

What would be the point then ;)

Well, what good is a fast car, when the police cars are just as fast?
In a fast car, you should have better acceleration and a much higher top speed than the cops. The cops wouldn\'t come to short though, since they would have other cops to back them up and set up some road blocks. But driving in one of the worlds fastest cars, the McLaren F1, at well over 300 km/h while having a cop chasing you at those speeds is just ridiculos and spoils the experience IMO. It did in NFS3 and NFS:HS for me anyway.
IMHO, they could make it more realistic and the experience would be even more enjoyable. My dream racer would be GT3-physics and realism on tracks like the original NFS.

i am unimpressed with it...looks PC-ish...maybe wait till its done..

Dude, I don\'t know where you live, but cops own performance cars as well. DO you think all cops drive crappy sedans???
I am not sure about the US, but in AUS, there are quite a few HSV GTS 300/250 cops cars. These are amazing cars, able to do well over 200 M/H and accelerate at like 4 secs for 0-60 M/H. These \'special\' cop cars are used in high speed pursuits, just like in NFSHP2. Its not so much of a fantasy.
ALSO - This HSV that I was talking about, is actually in the car list! So I would say that there will also be a few cop cars modelled around it in the game.

i saw a camero highway patrol car the other day, and from what i heard, cop cars are modified(even have NOS, had that for years), there is a Chris Farley movie from like 1993 or something, its with David Spade, and they are in a cop car, and the car was leaking NOS, and then they showed the the NOS bottles in the trunk, i think the movie was Black Sheep. after seeing that movie, and some show on TLC about cops, i\'m pretty sure some cops in some states have NOS. not all cop cars are slow.

and the game, like DJ Tiesto said, looks pc-ish, but not bad, i\'ll have to see it on my tv screen to judge it. i like NFS high stakes for pc because the cars got wrecked, which made it feel more realistic, and you were able to download more cars for it off the net, i had plenty of cars, but the game doesn\'t run in winxp, so i haven\'t played it in a while.

thanx for the great screens fastson!!!

Dude, I live in Europe and lived in Australia aswell.

Who are you trying to bull****? A Holden that drives over 200 M/H? Yeah sure, in your dreams. But yeah, if you\'re speaking about Km/h, then you might be correct. Top speeds of over 200 km/h and acceleration under 4 seconds from 0 to 60 km/h sound more accurate to me for a Holden. ;) No honestly, the Holden does at its fastest 5 seconds and will never come close to outperform a high performance sportscar as the Diablo or F1. Hell, normal road versions don\'t even outperform a BMW M5, let alone we are argueing it comparing to real sportscars. And believe me, even if there are cops with cars like these, they\'d be very rare. So, fine by me if you think that\'s realism at its best, but it isn\'t to me.
Face the facts, most cops do drive sedans. In Australia, in Europe and all the other places.

seven, you have no idea. You have no idea about cars and you certainly don\'t know your facts.
I never said Holden, I said HSV. There is a distinct difference. Have you ever heard of speed restrictions? Its a component in your cars CPU/Computer (by the way, I suggest installing a unichip) that restricts its maximum speed. In most Australian cars, this is set to 210 KPH. This can, of course be overiden, particularily by the police. Unrestricted, a HSV GTS 300 could do around 290, if given the chance. And these are so not Diablo or F1 specs. Diablo can accelerate in around 3 secs flat, and do the quarter mile in 10. HSV is certainly not up there, but it does give them a run for their money.
Police do use performance cars in Australia, particularily in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. They had one set up at this years motor show. It was a HSV GTS 300, the GPS and turbo engine.

seven, you have no idea. You have no idea about cars and you certainly don\'t know your facts.
Above you were talking about a Cop car (a HSV GTS 300 mind you) that does from 0 to 60 miles/h in less than 4 seconds and that reaches a top speed of over 200 miles/h. Oh no sorry, you quoted: "well over 200 M/h"
Now just to get some things cleared up to the people who aren\'t familior with miles, lets convert that number to km/h: 200 m/h * ~1.6 = 320 km/h. You did say well over though, so I am assuming anything from 320 up to 350 km/h - and the HSV GTS 300 (I did my research) clearly does not come up to those speeds. How could it with 300 kw? You latest numbers (you said HSV drives around 290) seem to be more accurate though. My above point is, that in games like NFS, you can drive probably the worlds still fastest car (okay, now it\'s 2nd fastest) and still have that supercop with his Sedan behind you. HSV or what ever, it\'s not realistic. And I said it before, even if there are cops with cars that drive over 300 km/h, they are very VERY rare to make a big issue abou it.
Some facts btw:
I never said Holden, I said HSV. There is a distinct difference.
Not a Holden? (http://www.uniqueautos.com.au/holden/autos/gts270101.shtml) Funny, that when I look for that specific car on the web, it brings me up all these Holden sites.
Unrestricted, a HSV GTS 300 could do around 290, if given the chance. And these are so not Diablo or F1 specs. Diablo can accelerate in around 3 secs flat, and do the quarter mile in 10. HSV is certainly not up there, but it does give them a run for their money.
That\'s exactly my point: These cars aren\'t Diablos or F1 and therefore can\'t compete. Hence my above reasoning why NFS is unrealistic. And the Diablo does not accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3 seconds, it\'s 3.8. But as you can see in my original post that you jumped on, my point is that NFS is very unrealistic in those aspects.
##Racer##, Now maybe you should get YOUR facts straight before you go tell people about HSV\'s that drive well over 200 M/H. ;)
-
fastson, what have you started  lmao
-
Looks good for an arcadish racing game, nothing compares to the realism of gt.
