Title: RES EVIL on PS2

This may b old news i\'m not sure but i was reading PSW and it had an article that said Res Evil was coming to PS2 and not just th Game cube:laughing: It\'s because the company that make Res games r loosing loadsa money because there games aren\'t out on the PS2, it\'s gonna b an online game or somethin!!

I read that too....I read it here. But as far as I recall, it was not confirmed.

PS2 can\'t be ignored. Many potential customers mean BIG BUCKS!

I hope it comes out on ps2, resident evil games used to be my favorite series

Yeah, you\'ll see all the Resident Evil games on other consoles, eventually. This is Capcom we\'re dealing with here... they don\'t know the meaning of the word exclusive when it comes to a money making franchise.

Of course, other than RE0 and RE4, you can already play all the NGC Resident Evil\'s on the PS2... and the sad thing is, you\'re only going to be missing out on great graphics with RE1.. the others in the series are going to be direct ports with increased resolution, texture smoothing, and Anti-Aliasing.

yeah we get re online, but we don get re0, or re4:evil:  hopefully they will eventually come to the ps2

They should do, seeing as there will probably be a bigger market for the PS2, anyway, I\'m looking forward to whatever the next version of Res Evil is ;)

• Very old news. There was a comment made by Capcom of America saying they was dissapointed with GameCube sells. Capcom of Japan was stunned by the comment and assured everyone that the main series of RE was still exclusive and would remain exclusive to the NGC.
• I said "main series " because there is still Resident Evil games coming to the PS2. Two of these games are already announced.
  
  1) Resident Evil : Gun Survivor 2. A sequel to the terrible lightgun game for the Psone. This one takes place in the Code Veronica enviroment.
  
  2) Resident Evil : Online. No details on this one yet, except that it is a PS2 title.
  
  
• Capcom has never been one to stay exclusive for long periods of time. My personal opinion on the matter is, Capcom will remain exclusive long enough to release RE1 (remake), RE0 and RE4 and then within a year or two port them over to the PS2.
• The company that makes Resident Evil is  CAPCOM  [/color]. Just thought I would let you know, that way you would never  have to say, "the company that makes RES games" , ever again.
