This is not a stupid question. I have a similar one about how my PPPoE adapter will work on the PS2 for my DSL since I actually need a program to activate it on my system. Will I NEED the HDD for my DSL? Doesn\'t that already single out a specific group of BB users yet again by making them buy an HDD?

Ditto. Also, will the ethernet adaptor link to my network hub that is currently serving the BB modem to my PC? We need more info!

Yes it will. It wont be quick though, but I\'m sure you know that!! :D
In fact, I\'m fairly sure CygnusXI is using a 56k for BETA testing...

I think... it\'s mainly going to depend on how the game is made by the developers. I\'m pretty sure someone can write a small standardized file for the PS2 which can fit on a memcard and will contain all the information needed to get you connected without having to input your information over and over again each time you play. For connections like what Ryu has, it\'s up to the developers once again, but I\'m pretty sure they can write games which are compliant with that type of BB connection.
The thing I\'m wonderin is this... if you can network up an Xbox to GameSpy that\'s built to be link cable compatable, couldn\'t you also do the same for some PS2 games using a BB USB modem and your PC?
