Title: Black Hawk Down
Post by: Agnino on April 10, 2002, 06:15:48 AM: Saw it on cinema yesterday :) wow, now this is 2,5 hours with full packed action. And it is good action. Only part I didnt like about it, was that it was based on a true story.... well in reality, it didnt go so well as it did in the movie.... it didnt go well at all :(

If you wanna see war movies that shows the true side (how cruel real war is).. Look out for The Platoon, Full Metal Jacket and Apocalypse Now Redux.

No.. BHD is a gloryfied version of the war.
It doesn’t show when the US solders panic and shoot into a group of civilians either.

I know it\'s based on actual events, but as some of you have already said, it didn\'t tell the whole story. There are way too many war movies coming out now anyway. It\'s like they just started pumping them out after 9.11
