Drool everyone. Just drool.
-- Treasure\'s Ikaruga to appear on the Dreamcast and Playstation 2
The spiritual successor to the widely praised Radiant Silvergun will be released on the Dreamcast.
Online importer National Console Support has announced that Treasure\'s Naomi-powered shooter, Ikaruga, is indeed coming to the Dreamcast. Ikaruga is considered by many to be the unofficial sequel to Radiant Silvergun, a unique shooter for the Sega Saturn. In this old-style top-down shooter, players will be able to select from two different modes for their ship--white and black--which will allow them to absorb enemy attacks of the same color.
NCS also stated that a PlayStation 2 version of the game is on the way, but the release date has not been determined. The Dreamcast version of Ikaruga is scheduled for release on May 30 in Japan. --

Yeah, Radiant Silvergun was the best Saturn game. The weapons rocked (no, the weapons rock).
