I am trying to design a website for my folio. What should I use if I don\'t know much HTML? I have Dreamweaver, but I have been told to try Frontpage 2001. Is this easy to use???
I have also used the Homestead.com editor in the past, and found it awesome. It was so easy, and you could put anything anywhere you want, aligning things wasn\'t a problem.
Any programs like that around???

Notepad.
I do it all myself baby.

Argh, Frontpage is the devil. It\'s made for 8 year old kids and mess up the code. At least the version I\'ve tried.
Stick to Dreamweaver. The best webdesign program you\'ll ever get (I assume you have at least version 3).

I use a combination of Dreamweaver, Homesite, notepad and sometimes FrontPage

notepad is the only way to go, 100% pure.

Notepad, definitely. + occasionally Adobe Imageready for rollovers and other stuff. WYSIWYG = \\/\\/hy y00 $uck 1z wid y00 g3@r!

adobe photoshop
notepad
all teh t00lz I n33d
seriously, if you don\'t know much html, I would suggest you learn. It\'s quite simple and gives you much more control over the way your page looks, without making the code over complicated and thus forcing a higher waiting time

Dreamweaver and notepad. All you need.
No sense in doing it all with notepad since dreamweaver will put in all the bull crap for you. Much much quicker. Although you can\'t be as cool as the people who think they are cool doing it all with notepad.

doing it with notepad = teh win!11!11
nah, I don\'t think I\'m cool cos I do it with notepad, I just find it easier :)

I use Words Web page maker that comes with Office XP

Frontpage is the devil. Notepad is good for small tweaks. Never used DreamWeaver. HomeSite is the best.

Ok, I have some problems with Dreamweaver.
For instance, I want to have a header title page, which is 165x700. Now, I want it to be centred, but it just wont align properly. What am I doing wrong???
I have set the alignment, and it is still left justified.

I like to write mine in trinary(my own code), then program my own OS, and all the programs in it, then I invent a completly new universal language for the internet, and then translate my trinary language into it, and then post it online....or maybe I use dreamweaver.

WORD there mister. That\'s what I\'ve been saying all along. Make Dreamweaver do all the boring and/or hard to code stuff and perhaps clean it up in Notepad, if you\'re feeling anal.
