Scariest **** in my life. Imagine hearing sirens out of nowhere, and looking out your window to see a tornado 1 MILE AWAY. I saw a huge cone swirling, and I couldn\'t believe it. Right in front of my parents I was screaming F*** F*** F***!!! And I think the funniest part was the whole street stood outside like Jackasses when it was so close.
Anywayz, just wanted to say, I almost died! :)

Crazy stuff. Tornadoes just fascinate me. I\'d probably be the dumbass to walk up and try to touch one. :D

Hey Vivi, just curious, but are you at http://www.purevideogames.com as "Blackmage" ?
BTW, that sounds pretty scary, I went through a similar experience back in Oklahoma City. Pretty much went the same as yours did.

The closest i\'ve ever seen to a tornado is a dust devil. Bah.

I was in the typhoon (Typhoon Paka) that was the highest wind record ever on land, 236 mph. I didn\'t die if you can\'t tell. :nerd:

watching a tornado moving towards you that must have been really frightning. over here the strongest winds were i believe 30-35 knots not strong but they make some pretty nasty sand storms.

Pretty freaky. Last Summer our car got struck by lightning. That was so scary, but kinda funny at the same time. The car behind us got a fright and crashed off the freeway.

Ohhh... a MILE away... ohhh... scarry....
Not to put a damper on you near death experience, but you need to spend a bit more time in Tornado Alley. I had a twister touch down just about 3 blocks from where I was working at last fall. It looked alot closer than that actually, like it was gonna land on the other side of the house across the road. I sat in the Deli Cafeteria and watched it come down. I wasn\'t even scared.. just pissed because I thought I was going to loose ANOTHER job. Things didn\'t even get hectic till someone handed me a flashlight and told me to start moving customers back to the freezers where it was safer.

I saw a tornado last friday, which is pretty cool. We never EVER getthem in the UK, thos one was about 100 ft high, not very strong, looked pretty cool though

We have had a couple touch down near the place I grew up at. Michigan doesn’t get as many as we used to though. I have not seen one in years. But I will say that not seeing one is a bit of a comfort.
