gamespot to be charging?
haha, no more mooching!
With what they are calling "GameSpot Complete", GameSpot will be making the move towards something similar to IGN\'s Insider in May. They will start the service then and make it free until June. At that point it will cost $19.95 a year or $4.95 for a month. Most new content will be made available for seven days for free (Trey from GameSpot cleared that up for me). Here\'s what you get:
Complete access to all content
Unlimited high-speed downloads
Unlimited streaming video

i only wish dailyradar would have done this to stay afloat
-
Yeah, I heard about that earlier today. Sux0rs, but I never went there much anyway.
-
Yeah, I miss DailyRadar too. :( They was my #1 favorite game site for the latest in console Gonzo journalism.
*crys*

I think its already come into effect. I get "file not found" when I click numerous pics, as if it were like IGN\'s brainwashing idea.
-
as long as their reviews stay up.. thats all i really go there for
it is a sad day indeed :(
-
one thing that already makes it better then IGNcrapsider

I hope don\'t have to pay for every post we put on these forums :D
-
They need to. A lot of sites have gone under. Clicking on banners don\'t pay enough.
-
Well, this just means more homemade sites will eventually be getting more traffic for similar content.
-
damn hope that dosnt happen to here...but saying that if i had to im sure id pay some to keep this place afloat!!!

it would be good for the little guys, ( me ) but I would like to see gamespot stay free.
