Title: I didn\'t like Rogue Squadron too much.
Post by: GmanJoe on April 26, 2002, 06:14:44 AM
It\'s a beautiful game but the control is too stiff. They basically took Episode I (PS2 and Xbox) and put a space craft under the cross hairs.

If it used inertial affects like Colony Wars (after all, it\'s in space)or gave the craft\'s more manueverability like Ace Combat 4, it would have helped greatly. But instead, I get a stiff movement of the cross hairs making dog fights feel too artificial and literally, a drag. I\'m not flying the craft, I\'m moving the cross hairs!

But the game is awesome looking and the gameplay isn\'t as bad as I make it out to be. It\'s decent enough for a Star Wars game. But it really needs better flight physics.

EDIT : I corrected my tyop!

What is today? I think i have to agree, I played the in store running demo, which included some missions, and it got hella boring after the first mission.  Eh, its all graphics no filler IMO.
