No matter where it happens, its still a sad day when our youth have enough emotional distress to cause this violence. I pitty anybody who has been a part of anything of this sort.

I was thinking about posting something about this, but I didn\'t want to seem insensitive.

I think the Germans are going to say "yeah but it was in East Germany" (or the Ehemalig DDR, or die Fünf Neue Länder, or whatever they\'re calling it now).  The fact is that we don\'t have any monopoly on the school and workplace massacre market.

I\'m suprised to they didn\'t show this on the news here in America.  Thats really sad that that kid was so messed up to where he would  go after that many people.

Well as usual I am at a loss as what to say. I am pained to see that a student or anybody feels that taking innocent peoples lives is going to solve their problems. If only there was a way to help these people before they break. I have learned that everyone has a different breaking point. But alas there isn\'t a way. I pity our world and what we have done to ourselves and others. Where are we going?

why do people always think these killers are always psychotic?

he probably had a very justified reason for what he did, not that i would ever condone it

how can that be justified. IMO..his elevator didnt go all the way up... ya know..a few sandwichs short of a picnic...or not playing with a full deck. Get the point yet?
No normal person kills 18 peers,teachers/faculty and a police officer with a justified reason.

but not because he felt like an outcast?  or he was probably picked on every day?

all too frequently, i feel like driving down to the regional office where i work and shooting every suit in that forsaken place, but will i do it?

what prevents me from doing it?  fear of punishment?  fear of not going to heaven?  fear of my own death?

or just a simple grip on reality?
