but they could move it up.

i think 2004 it will come guarenteed

Post by: luckee on April 29, 2002, 08:55:57 PM: well..going on history..its every 5 years..but for some reason..I think ps3 will be a few years after the 5 year mark of ps2. Basicaly due to ps2 still being able to offer so much more in terms of performance.

otherwise I agree we won\'t see the PS3 until 2005 - 2006

Why would Sony shoot themselves in the financial foot by releasing another console before the PS2 peaks in sales and userbase ????

Not to mention developers will have to buy all new dev kits and learn a new machine before they have had a chance to make maimum profits form Pthe PS2

no actually its your mistake

SOny never said they would release the PS3 in 2004

the people on this forum are in tune with every drop of videogame news that gets released and we all know SOny has said no such thing

so until you can back up your claim of the PS3 being released in 2004 by a credible source then its obviously is not true

This guy come in here with big news, yet he can\'t give a source, he cops an attitude, and only has 6 posts. Smells like troll to me.

no ill think you will find that what Ddaryl sayed was true.

Also the chances of Sony releaseing the new Playstation are slim to none, seeing that the PS2 is out selling the compentition at such a massive rate.

the PS2 to X box selling rate is around 40 to 1 in Japan the last time i looked :D.

thats 40 PS2 units to every X Box that is sold !

BTW. I agree with ddaryl, The Ps2 hasnt even come close to its possibilities. I tink that the Ps3 will probably come out 2006-2008. Its just my thoughts. Well Ddaryls thoughts plus a little bit of my thoughts.
