Shinobi on PS2.. looks like it could be a winner..
-
Looks tight.. but I don\'t like the new character design of Shinobi. I think he shouldda stayed sort of like he was through.. oh.. say.. Shinobi 1 thru 3 + Shadow Dancer instead of copping a "Soul Reaveresque" look. Hope it plays well. Some reason, I\'m a little more worried about the gameplay transition from 2d to 3d after seeing these new screenshots. :(

When you think of video game ninjas, one of three names usually comes to mind: Strider, Ninja Gaiden or Shinobi (sorry, Rikimaru of Tenchu doesn\'t count).
Eh?
What ever happened to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles?
The screens for Shinobe look pretty cool. I will rent it for sure. If it plays as well as it looks, it will be a nice addition to my library.

That, uh, scarf flowing behind him looks really good. I can\'t tell where the joints are, hope it stays that way.
-
they are not showing for me
-
looks playable

TMNT are no longer popular, whereas these 3 have been around for more than 10 years and considered legends.
And Rikimaru shares the spotlight...

Are you correcting someone else\'s spelling mistakes when you spell "your" as "yer"?
:P

yer is slang, "geniouses" is just plain wrong. :P
And once again DirectXbox shows why he\'s got that nice avatar.

Seriously? Was there ever any doubt? Sega\'s software development team is one of the best, and I\'m pretty sure not a lot of people will argue against that. The debate is usually about Sega\'s console development teams.
And PSX??
And where in those pictures do you see an example of high polygon counts? The quality of the images looks on par with MGS2, FFX, Kingdom Hearts, Xenosaga, in my opinion. Or am I the stupid one for actually replyin to this post?

Looks great. But why do companies think they have to change a great 2d to 3d?? I hope they get the gameplay rite on this one.
p.s the button on the forum changed soon as I posted this:eek:
