Right, as you know, I bought an XBOX whilst drunk. I quite like the games I got (Halo and PGR) but failed to see which games are going to be good in the future. I am beginning to wonder if it was a waste of money or not. So, you guys decide, you have 12-24 hours (as I want to take it back before I get the GC if needs be) Cheers!

but dont let us decide.. do research about what games are coming out in the future.. do you need the money for a GC? etc. etc.

personally, i wouldnt have bought it in the first place.. but you had the money for it, you own it, you know it will be getting some good games later on, you wont be missing out on PS2\'s games..
so the question is.. do you miss out on GCN\'s games, or XBox games?

Xbox games will have ports of PS2 games. Very few exclusives. Similar games.
Keep the PS2. Sell your box.

I only voted “toss it you’re a prick” ‘cause your other choice in the poll said that the XBOX rules. I am no fanboy but this I know, the XBOX does not rule. Only the sales charts can back that opinion up.
Besides, returning the d*mn thing will give you enough money for a few cases of beer, a few friends and possibly a hooker. You decide, it’s your money.;)

i say if u\'ve got the money get all three consoles:D, else if it was me i would keep the xbox as some more good games will be comming its way eventually , but what really matters is that u get the console that appeals more to u.

he wants to decide what he wants, XBox, or trade it in for a GCN.. his PS2 (assuming he owns one) never came into question..

Well...to me, PS2 and Xbox will have similar games. So....either one he keeps....he\'s not losing much. Eventually Xbox will get PS2 games or something similar. It\'s just redundant to keep both, IMO.

I say keep the Xbox. There\'s going to be a bunch of exclusive games for it that will well make it worth the purchase. You may just have to wait a bit longer for them than with other consoles. But hey.. you\'ve already got the box so you don\'t have anything holding you back from picking up the games that interest you. Check the 2002 Summer/Fall release dates for which games are comming out when and do a bit of preview browsing before making any definate purchases.
And hey, think of it this way, even you don\'t find anything on the Xbox to spark your interest in the immedate future.. 4 Xbox games = 1 NGC. The money you save by being picky can go right back into buying another console. Then it dosen\'t matter what platform a game is on.. you\'ll be able to play it.
That\'s what I\'d do anyhow.

What developer in their right business mind (this year) would make a game exclusive to Xbox only and miss out on the masses who own PS2?
They haven\'t said it yet, but I\'m quite sure many developers are reconsidering their offers from MS.

i would return it, keep the ps2, maybe get some of the older games... also halo will be released on pc, so u ould use some of the money u spent on x box and gmes to upgrade your pc!!!!
oh and go get loadsa beer

Keep it until after E3. If the games that they show at E3 don\'t interest you then get rid of it. I am happy with my xbox.

Keep it. Sure the range of games available isn\'t all that hot at the mo and first up sales haven\'t exactly gone to plan, but wait to see if any improvements develop along the way. If not, then sell it and get the GC... Better yet a PS2.

I took it back last night and swapped it for my GC and games. I intend to buy an XBOX later in the year when its future is more certain, and when I can afford to have all three consoles. Thanx for the help guys.

anyhoo, trade the xbox in for a GC and RE and a mem card
PS2 + GC is the way to go

Looks like you have made the right choice…that being the choice that makes you happy. Are you going to buy RE for your GC soon?
