remember those pictures you posted ol\' buddy showing why TOCA on PC was graphically superior to GT3.. well, they were mock-ups, here are the real things..

and those pro race driver pics look exactly the same quality as the Toca pics that were released (click the link i posted it shows them) anyway.. guess we\'ll have to wait and see then

huh, you both mean the same game. It\'s called TOCA Pro Race Driver - and the screens that Bob posted reflect the graphics of that downloadable demo.

my bad, i didnt see TOCA written anywhere in the review
but i went back and saw "latest in the TOCA series" buried
why wouldnt they put TOCA in the title though?
so i went to codemasters pro race driver site, and dont see TOCA written anywhere, but regardless this pic comes directly off thier site

the demo is dated 5/1
so it should be fairly accurate of the final product
we\'ll find out tonight i guess

The final product.. at 1600x1200 with FSAA and anisotropic filtering.. running at a blistering 10fps.. :)

Yeah, that b*tch is getting a P4 1.8a and overclocking it to 2.5Ghz.

And just to think, not that long ago, this guy was playing Q3 at 800x600x16x2x FSAA. Now he\'s b*tchin about playing at 1280x1024x32 4x FSAA and 8x aniso?

these are taken on a geforce 4 ti4600 at 1024x768x32 bit color
4x FSAA and 8-tap anistropy.
the game has a warning at the start of the demo that it is only 60% into production

cool. thanks mm. IMO, they look a little better than the ones posted in that other thread - and no where as good as the PR screens. I do hope that this is due to a early build and does not rerflect the graphics of the game when its finished.
The backgrounds are horrible - infact, I haven\'t seen that bad backgrounds since GT1 & 2 on PSX. The cars have a feel of Destruction Derby feel to them (the way the car falls apart) - although this might be because of the screens.
Anyway, I do hope that the game will look better once it\'s fully finished - and I hope that the PS2 version will look as good, if not better. ;)
