how to recoginze a "real" PS2 game from Burned copys:
1. Look at the inner ring for PS symbols
2. Look at the data section for PS symbol every 45 degrees or so.
3. #2 does not work on the Purple disks tho.
4. the Label on the top does not have the basic Playstation
Idnetification (PS logo, PS Number etc.....)
Please dont flame me........some people might not know and buy a burned disk from a computer show and get home and it not work and they wasted money on it...this was a public service announcement!

Also note, if you pay 50% less than what you would expect to pay for a brand new PS2 game......

Or, pirates are getting very good at their trade. I seen some illegal DVDs from Borneo last week. They were almost exact. You could tell though cause the printing on the disc was too light.

And…there’s something wrong with living in a bubble?
As far as pirating goes, these guys are only getting better at what they do. It won’t be long ‘till they have the full capability to make the copies and the cases as good looking as the real deal.
That had been proven time and time again by those that have counterfeited money.:(
