Right, another \'whats up with rick\' thread. I know you love them!! Ok, so, as you know, I broke my hand wednesady, split with my long term girlfriend on friday, so i awake saturday morning with a phone call from my mum telling me that my auntie has just died. She had been ill for a while, but it was still a bit of a shock. Then, later in the day, my ex phones my in a right state, which didnt do much good at all. So, sunday, my mum phones me and wants me to be a coffin bearer for the funeral on friday, of course I said yes, I dont want to upset my mum. Then all this brings back memories of my dad (who died 5 years ago), and this is the first family funeral since. Anyway, sunday night I went out for a drink with my ex, got totally wrecked, then did something really bad and got all horny etc. Not much happened thank god, but i felt so bad the next morning. Monday, wake up, totally stressed, realise i have an exam the following day (today, tuesday) spent all day thinking and I have now decided that I\'m going to have to drop out of uni for this year and repeat it next year. I\'m so stressed and feel really down, sorry to lay all this $hit on you guys, but I just needed to let it out. Anyway, prozac and valium here i come :(

Man, I know kinda how you feel. Anyway, just ride it out. I know it sounds simplistic, but it\'s true. Look at life as an adventure, and sometimes you are in a really crappy part of the story-line.
Just think. God, life would be SO boring without crap happening, right? Look at it that way. You can only do so much in a day, then just let whatever isn\'t resolved after that day as just something to do later. These things NEVER go away.
That\'s my advice....simple, yet effective.:)
My wife and I have been married for just over 5 years, and in that short time she has lost her Grandfather, Uncle and Mother..., all of whom she lived with and was very close to. Man, I feel for her. But we move on.. always.

Feel better my friend. At least things can\'t get much worse. That\'s always a good thing.

Hey man, I hope that your luck turns for the better soon. Just think though, if it weren’t for bad luck, you may not have any luck at all.
I won’t tell you of the bad days in my life to try and console you but I will say this, get some rest. If you have not got your health, than you don’t have much at all…or something like that.;)

i have been gone for some of the reasons you listed
hence ive been gone dealing with the grades i let fall early on this semester from a relationship problem only now those problems are returning with a new girl

My deepest sympathies on the loss of your aunt.
Listen to CygnusXI. That\'s really sound advice to just ride out all the crap that comes through. It\'ll be a story you can tell your kids.
And although you\'re no longer with your girlfriend, I think she\'d understand and offer you any support you need. Take comfort in those you have in your life.
Again, much sympathies.

Once again, thanks for the help people. I feel quite a bit better now than I did when I posted the thread. I\'ve had a deep and meaningfull with my mum, and she has really helped. She doesnt think i should get back with my gf right now, and I agree. I\'ll be right back on track in the next few weeks, and am looking into the future with confidence about what I am going to do.
Also, I just found out that a 17 year old girl (who is hot $hit) desperately wants to sleep with me, which is nice. Whats nicer is after that, she wants a threesome with me and her totally hot mate. Does it really suck to be me :D

I know what your saying man. I have had my downs in life. It\'s gotten so bad I didn\'t care what happen to me. A lot of ppl don\'t understaned because they have everything handed to them.

(not that the 2 go hand in hand) (And not that I have genital herpes) oh yeah, by the way, you might want to make sure that your 17 year old friend and her friend dont have genital herpes.... One more thing... Make sure that your 17 year old friend\'s friend isnt a dude (If you dont already know that) oh wait! I almost forgot! Ok, so that probably wasn\'t the best thing to say right now.. but it\'s true. I mean, no matter how bad things get, they can always get worse. Jus don\'t let it catch you blindsided.. hope for the best, expect the worst. It\'s good advice to live by. Well.. if you live for much longer considering the luck you\'ve been having.
Things will get better eventually.. just try not to get too down in the meantime or else when something new comes up you might not be able to deal with it.
