hey, does anyone know if the new ps2 medal of honor game is going to be multiplayer as well as one player? game pro said just one player and ign said two player. :bounce:
-
I\'m pretty sure it\'ll support only one player.
-
If it is 2 player it will likely be extremley limited and nobody will play it much anyways, so it\'s no big loss if it\'s not included.
-
id say one plyer..but didnt moh have multi player????? hope this one does, also hope it can go online, and is it gonna be mouse/keyboard comp??
-
The PSONE MOH had multiplayer, I\'m sure this one will too.

yeah it probably would be...plus the game would be better one player!! :D
-
How would the game feel limited? That doesn\'t make much sense considering how 2-player support never "limited" anything in the original MoH games.

That\'s what I thought as well, but several sources report that it\'ll be strictly one-player (no death match modes, etc.), and I faintly remember reading an interview with one of the guys on the development team where he mentioned that they excluded all multiplayer features.
It\'s a shame, but this is Medal of Honor we\'re talking about. The series is all about the single player experience.
-
Yeah,IMO but, If you realy want some great multiplayer action then buy allied assult for the pc. Playing online is so fun with that game. I think Forntline would be best left alone to single player.
-
I think console FPS are made for the deathmatch and I don\'t see how they could not incorporate 2 player or 4 player deathmatch into the game. The one player mode better be damn good then.
-
Sorry guys... it won´t have an Multiplayer-Option !
That was told last monday on our Giga-Games TV by a developer. :(
-
i think it\'d be alittle more fun w/ multi player, im getting the game either way when it comes out though.
the ps 1 version wasn\'t bad
-
Damn them, WTF are my cousin and I gonna play on PS2. Now we have to wait for Timesplitters 2.
-
I think it would be really cool to have a 2 player co-op and not just deathmatch.
-
whens the new timesplitters coming out? anyone know? i think it should come soon, but it may have been postponed
-
i just saw footage from psw...wow!!!
-
I was really looking forward to this game, but I can\'t plunk down $50 for a game with no replay value? I learned that lesson with MGS2. It was a GREAT game, but not worth that money for a one round trip.
-
well i have played mgs2 loads, think it has high replay value!!!!
and i thought the original moh had replay aswell!!!! just cos ive completed something, doesnt stop me playing it again..... i mean do watch a film only once???
-
Yes, MGS2 did have replay value, but replaying the exact scenarios at different difficulties isn\'t that much fun. The rewards weren\'t even that great IMO. Now if we could have had MGS2, in a split screen mode, that would have been awesome!

I think developers should adjust their games prices based on how much replay value the game has. Take ZOE for example, a short game with little replay value, maybe instead of being $49, or whatever it was when it was new, it should be around $39. Long games like FFX, or games that have more replay value like TMB and VF4, should be the $49 ones. That way us gamers don\'t feel like we\'re getting so ripped off for buying all these games we beat in 3 hours and spend $50 only to never play them again.
-
nataku, I agree with you whole heartedly. If I could have done it all over, I would have purchased MGS2 from BlockBuster for $30. It wasn\'t worth the money, Im sorry thats how I feel.
Im looking for to this game also, but since Im getting older, I can\'t play the same games I used to for hours. I only spend hours on games that I can play with other people. Its nom fun having your friends over and having to watch each other play. We want to lower each others self-esteem by beating each other horriblY!!!!!

For the man that asked, Timesplitters comes out in August.
