Windows XP? Why don\'t you just use Windows Media Player that came with the OS? It works just fine for whatever it is you need and downloads any codecs you need when you play a movie.

Then I would have to delete the music matchbox, and we use that to burn our music cds.

? Windows Media Player burns music CD\'s in WinXP as well. I use it all the time.

So u are suggesting that I uninstall my musicmatch jukebox? Because, it only pops on some of the videos, all I want to know is how to change that, and open it into something else, like realplayer or windows media player.

Open windows media player, then go to tools, options and then file types. Check all the boxes you want windows media player to play then head to the player tab. In this section, check the box that says "download codecs automatically" and check for updates once a day. That should do it. Then uninstall musicmatch. Media player can copy music, and play all of your movie files (except for QT files which you should have the quicktime player for that anyways).

First of all, Windows Media Player does everything the Music Match does, and it does it better.
And, you wouldn\'t have to delete MMJ, just change the file extensions. It\'s in the options for both programs.
WMO playes just about every file format out there, except .mov files (quick time) and .rm files (real media)

WMP 7 gui is just gay, there\'s no way around it. MM doesn\'t want to take up your whole screen, take over all of your other media proggies, or send you to a webpage when you play a certain file. I know WMP is customizable but there\'s always those M$ hooks to it. To each his own on this one.
I also like how Musicmatch puts files in its playlist when you click on them rather then playing them off the bat. But why would you want MM to play movies? It\'s not called MUSICmatch for nothing. Btw- I always use Wmp 6.4 for movies, I never ever liked 7+.
Oh yah and stop with the porn!! It\'ll do ya more damage than good trust me.

OK, let me clear this up, I am not making it play the movies, it automatically plays certain movies I download, and I was wondering how in the hell I would make that stop, and play it somewhere else that will actually play it!!!
