I got the rocket launcher with the 240 rounds of flame rounds, acid rounds and granade rounds.
Jill is more lethal than the monsters now. :D
Oh well.....I\'m enjoying the burning rotten flesh of zombies.
She\'s crafty. ;)

i decided to go chris\' route 1st
i refuse to cheat as im doing the "hiking" difficulty 1st
i cant find the %$^#^& shotgun tho :mad:
i swear i should have found it by now, im pretty far in

I\'m on Mountain Climb.....darn zombies take nearly 10 bullets to take down. Using Jill since she can carry 8 items (whaddya expect? she\'s got a purse) whereas Chris has only 6 slots.
You have to go through the "Dog Hall" (the infamous dog through window act), thought the double doors, past the bathroom and you\'ll see another door. The first room is just a square room with nothing in it. Another door leads to the shotgun. But you need an old broken shot gun to replace it to prevent the trap from happening.

Haven\'t you played RE from PSX before?
By the way, you might want to becareful when you go through the woods. There are roving Pikmins out there (yes, Pikmin Forest is actually Raccoon Forest ;) )

This is a step by step guide to getting this glitch to work. Follow these instructions or it will fail.
Requirements: You must have the grenade launcher and two types of ammo (e.g., Grenade Rounds, Incendiary Rounds)
1) Put all items in item box
2) Put Grenade Launcher in upper-left item slot
3) Put Incendiary Rounds in upper-right item slot
4) Close box
5) Open inventory
6) Equip Grenade Launcher
7) Open box
8) Select Incendiary Rounds from inventory
9) Press \'\'A\'\' twice
10) Move cursor to Incendiary Rounds inside box
11) Press \'\'A\'\' twice
The amount of Incendiary Rounds in the Grenade Launcher will now increase. The number value will be graphically glitched. Close the box and open inventory to fix that. I assume the value exceeds the possible amount, so the game automatically reduces the rounds to 240 to prevent data corruption. Enjoy.

I thought that "difficulty level" question was rhetorical, showing you the game would be tough... Now that I know better I started over on Hiking and I\'m going for it. I\'ve never done this before, but I want to do it right, so I\'m with mm in not cheating...
I\'m playing as Jill... got two keys so far, feeling pretty good about myself. ;]

You get no bonus items when you finish on Hiking Level.
Come on....go for the Mountain Climb! Just avoid the zombies until you get the rocket launcher! :nerd:

I beat Chris\'s on hiking several days ago, you do in fact get a bonus item: the closet key. (highlight)
I kept everyone alive while my brother let one of the girls die, we both got the same reward so don\'t sweat it if someone dies. The ending is a little different, and I do mean LITTLE.
Getting bit twice and then dying doesn\'t sound like fun. I might just play Jill\'s on Mountain Climb though if I can get the glitch to work. What are the other bonus items you can get?

**SPOILERS!!!** (highlight if you want to see all the extras)
Jill
- Beat the game once, any difficulity and get the closet key for a special outfit.
- Beat the game twice, any difficulity and get a second special outfit (it rocks and diehard RE fans will know it).
Chris
- Beat the game once, any difficulity and get the closet key for a special outfit.
- Beat the game once, any difficulity and get the closet key for a special outfit.
Extra modes
- Once you beat the game once, a mode called Once AGAIN... opens. Use this mode to unlock various other extra things (second outfit ,etc). This mode allows you to select Easy, Normal or Hard.
- Clear Normal or Hard in Once Again... to open Real Survival Mode . You cannot use any bonus items in this mode, enemy placement is different and less ammunition. Game difficulity is also hard. Auto-aim is deactivied and item boxes no longer universal, meaning if you leave something in one item box and need it later, you must go back to that item box.
- Clear [/i] Real Survival Mode [/i] or clear both Chris and Jill\'s Normal difficulity games and you\'ll open up Invisible Enemy mode . All enemies are completely invisible, therefor you can\'t auto-aim. If you do beat this mode, all character outfits are opened at once and you\'ll get a special message from the director of the series.
- Clear both Chris and Jill\'s hard difficulity to unlock a mode where a "certain zombie" stalks you with gernades. You must avoid him ala Nemesis in RE3, except you can\'t shoot him, otherwise he blows up and its game over.
Bonus Weapons
- Barry\'s Custom Samura Edge . Complete normal or hard difficulity in under five hours and you will get this gun. It holds unlimited ammo and is extremely fast.
- The classic unlimited Rocket Launcher. Complete the game in normal or hard in three hours or less and you\'ll get a rocket launcher with unlimited ammo.

I\'ve personally beat the game once and got one oufit. Going to work on that second one on my next day off and while I\'m at it, I may try and clear it in under five hours (shouldn\'t be hard, as my other game was eight hours and I left it on the "pause screen" for massive amounts of time, therefor ranking up wasted timed), so that I can get Barry\'s Samurai Edge gun.
