Favorite band : Tokyo Symphony Orchestra
Fave album : Final Fantasy ~ Symphonic Suite
Err... yah :D
I like many kinda bands/music and can\'t pick just one favourite album (nor band). Most albums have their ups and downs, resulting in a neverending tie-situation. Mostly I like classical/game music.

I\'m gonna have to say...
Raise

Ejector seat reservation

I find it depressing that few of you have selected any recordings that were made more than 8-10 years ago. I guess that\'s normal and I\'ve always been a freak. Even when I was the age that most of you are, I habitually bought old 50s, 60s and 70s albums. Here are some of my favorites:
Best rock album: Wishbone Ash, "There\'s the Rub"
Best LIVE rock album: UFO, "Strangers in the Night"
I can\'t name one favorite, but I have many
Stevie Ray Vaughan, "Couldn\'t Stand the Weather"
Mahavishnu Orchestra, "Birds of Fire"
Captain Beyond, "Sufficiently Breathless"
Praxis, "Mutatis Mutandis"
Talking Heads, "More Songs About Buildings and Food"
Iron Maiden, "Piece of Mind"
Rush, "Signals"
King Crimson, "Discipline"

Well, Slayer\'s Show no Mercy came out in 1983, and Seasons in the Abyss in 1990. I also didn\'t mention bands like Venom, I listen to In League with Satan all the time, and that one\'s from the 70\'s.
Anyhoo, as you said very few :)
-
ooooooh.....my fav is Soul Coughing. love em
-
Hell I\'m only 16 yet I picked an album that came out 11 years ago.

Iron Maiden: (1980)
Helloween: Walls of Jericho (1987)
Happy now ??
Im kinda disapointed in "todays" music... the music after about 1995 has been kinda crap. There are some exceptions (Iron Maiden: Brave New World, Nightwish, Prodigy: Fat of the Land etc) but my opinion is that the 1980`s , early 1990`s music is the best :)
-
60\'s and 70\'s are still the best ever music eras :)
just so happens im a huge heavy metal fan as well :)
-
Sublime-sublime (the best ever)
Incubus-science
2 great albumns
-
Nirvana - Unplugged in N.Y.
Dispatch - Bang Bang (awesome CD, not too many people know about them too)
-
Dispatch is cool.
Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here = best.
