Title: no sound on PS2 startup screen??

when i turn on the ps2 i cant hear anything...but when it boots up any game then i hear sound...anyone have the same prob?

You mean during the PS2 logo?  That\'s weird because I never read any threads on this forum with a problem like that.  The games work fine though, right?

i havent seen that either..but my friend had a problem with his browser once because he didnt set up the options of his sony properly!!!!

thats what he told me!!!

i dont rally understnd what you saying, but i hear nise when i turn it on, and the white squres appear.. not sure if it does it with out a game. illcheck, but if you wanna put in more detail what you mean it will help

i figure it out...i bought Optical cables for my PS2 and i forgot to setup up in the PS2 system config..

How do you have your PS2 connected to your hifi or TV? If you\'re using an optical cable, it might be because you didn\'t configurate it probably in the system settings.

yeah it is

you should go in to the settings and turn the optical port on or off depending on what it is set at the moment.

prity simple

just a few menu selections so worry not.. its suposed to do that :)

well i checked today, amke noises ( start up noise, with and with out the game in)
