it will last the normal lifespan of any console i guess

m$ will dump as much money into as needed

but theres got to be a point where you say "this isnt working lets just get out of it" no matter how much money you have

you have a point clowd,
however
they may turn it into a PC/American console,

while the game sells less then the PSX, let alone the PS2
it sells ok in america

While the xbox won\'t see many Japaneese games, its possible MS may just concentrate on the USA market.

The will probably bring out a mouse, keyboard and a copy of windows xp to turn it into a pc!

what mm said is true even though Xbox is not doing goodin japan and in PAL countries its still doin fairly good in the states.
but sincerly i hope it dosent die out coz  the console has got enormous potential.

They put out their crap-Internet-Explorer, and got better after each release, they will do the same with the LunchBox, until even a hardened Japanese Game developer will see it as something he could not possibly pass up  coding for.

Having just traded my Xbox for a PS2, I think that MS is only hanging on because of their bankroll and ego. I think it\'s doomed. I think it will die within one year. don\'t be surprised if MS messes up on broadband too.

Because of that bankroll and ego, I wouldn\'t be suprised if Xbox is around for a very long time...
