Who thinks that there is too many PS2 magz,?
its so frustrating when u cant decide which one to buy!!!
usually i get the psm2 becasue it has great reviews and demos!!
-
Better don\'t know which to buy because the amount of mags, than can\'t buy any due to there is no.
-
my problem is that their r not tooo many magz to choose from and the ones that i can find really suck
-
I just like to buy the ones with demos so I can actually review the game myself instead of getting some lame ass review.
-
I prefer the offical PS2 mag.. when there is an superb exclusive playable demo like medal of honour
but if its a :crap: month
then i opt for wither PSM2 or PSW
-
Is the mag with the Frontline demo out already and if so, is the demo any good?
-
it\'s out in UK, picked it up on Friday.
demo is time limited (about 10-15 mins) and is the level from the video where you cross the bridge with the tank and climb the bell tower then let rip with an MG :)
Graphics are nice, lots of detail, great explosions, fire & smoke and plenty going on around you with freindly AI\'s blasting away at the bad guys, aircraft flying over & bombs dropping. Sounds are very good.
Controls take a bit of getting used to as the cross hair is only visible when you use a zoom button, suppose it\'s kind of like raising a gun and taking aim.
Still the odd problem like enemies running into fences and getting stuck, some occasional slow down but not too bad.
Will definitely be buying it :)

yeah someone know has it, but i cant find it anywhere!!!!
i usually get official ps2 mag, and psw

Are the controls the same as the Timesplitters setup.
-
not as good as Timesplitters imo, takes a lot more getting used to.
Left stick is forward/back & strafe, right stick is look/turn.
R1 fire, L1 is zoom which also has a cross hair, normal view just shows the gun so aiming is pot luck :) Is a bit odd at first but like the painfully slow reloads I suppose its meant to be just a little more realistic.
Really dont like the controls that much, but like most games I guess it just takes a little getting used to.

the June Official US Playstation magazine has a demo of it, I already got it due to I subscribe to it.....it hits newsstands this week or next week.

Just get the PSM2 magazine or whatever it is called IMO.
-
Most mags are redundant if you have access to the internet, save the playable demos in some , though, not enough to justify the cost. Sure, there is a small percentage of exclusive material dedicated to said medium, yet is extremely short-lived due to the inherent nature of the net.
Save your money; buy more games/beer.
-
i usually get POWER
-
I got the official mag the day it came out, MOH is pretty cool and I really liked Red card soccer, its not big its not cleaver but its fun. perfect when your pissed and with mates, yes Ive tried, kicking peole just becomes so much fun

Well I\'ll pass on the 8$ magazine considering the fact the game is coming out soon and I\'ll probably get the game no matter what.
-
