Title: Glitter may potentially not be the worst movie of all time
Post by: videoholic on May 19, 2002, 02:11:03 AM: I haven\'t seen Glitter and doubt if I ever will. I say doubt because I may be captured by terrorist some day and I can guarantee you that this is on the list for torture plans.

I digress...

I saw Corky Romano last night. You know what, I think I have just seen the worst movie of all time. Can anyone think of anything worse? My mind is a blank right now.

Fortunately, I don\'t watch a lot of movies, so I usually miss all the bad ones, unless they\'re forced on me in school or something. On that note, have any of you seen In Fair Verona (I think that was the name, but it might have just been "Romeo and Juliet")? If I\'ve seen a worse movie, I\'ve reprsessed all memory of it.

Glitter isnt the greatest but it is better then Shrek IMO.

Shrek, I thought it was a good movie. Predictable? Maybe. Been there done that? Yeah. But I still found it enjoyable. Charecter development wasn\'t bad, and I thought a few of the jokes were funny at least. And I certainly do NOT put it in the worst movies of all times category. I have seen quite a few bad movies that would qualify, and this one isn\'t one of them.

As for the worst movie...not sure. However, one movie that is there, Godzilla. This movie was so stupid and boring, I was :rolleyes: at the logic and the so-called "action scenes" (which was more boring then that).

Scary Movie is another one. Heard it was good, watched it, wish I didn\'t. The jokes were not funny, and quite frankly, disgusting, and just plain stupid.

Shrek was ok, no where near worst movie. It was a good movie for kids, like most Disney movies.

Some of the jokes visual gags could\'ve worked if they were executed differently, weren\'t as predictable, or weren\'t just plain disgusting. But for me, I was dissappointed. Now, is it the worst of the worst, probably not. But still, a bad movie IMO.

There is no piniacle to what is great or crap. There might be a general concensus on what is good or bad, but even then, debates continue.

Another thing, this thread is about what IS the worst movie of all time. Which is why when you said Shrek, people assumed you put it into the worst movie category. Most people here disagree (most people here won\'t put it into the great movie category, but certainly not THE worst movie of all time).

I said I could tell from the first ten minutes it was crap. The only reason why i watched the entire movie was I was waiting for it to develop a brain. All the commercials and reviews said it was so good so I was waiting to see why it was so good. Never saw it. Tell me why it is even good not great or why it is better then Glitter.

Not that you couldn\'t in Shrek, but Shrek at least had some lessons involved. Like teaching kids that looks are decieving, and they aren\'t everything. Shrek has some comedy in it too, it isn\'t all this emotional crap.
