It has been announced on wwe.com so it must be true.

What a shock this is. Davey was a fantastic wrestler.

I remember when he made a comeback in the WWF a year and something ago or so.  I was at the event (smackdown I think), where he first came back.  He won the hardcore title, then gave it to Al Snow.

Pillman defintely was in the newest version of the Hart Foundation. It was Bret Hart, Owen Hart, Jim Neidhart, Bulldog, and Pillman. Then of course Pillman died.

It IS true.

Although I am by no means a wrestling fan, I do know for sure that he is dead.

I only live a couple of miles away from his home town of Golborne, and it has been on the front pages of the local "free" papers.

Wrong Englishman.  That was Darren Matthews, aka William Regal and Lord Steven Regal (back in his WCW days.)  He was also in a tag team with Triple H called The Bluebloods in WCW after Hunter dropped his Terra Ryzin gimmick.
