If we do get a user rating system, we need to be able to edit or re-vote from time to time our ratings.

With little comments or something. Then maybe only members with a rating of 7 or 8, with a post count above 500 could get avatars. That\'s just my idea, although it would be pretty hard to pull off.

I\'m not sure I understand you when you say anonymous in this case.

Post by: Ryu on June 19, 2002, 11:24:30 PM: When you vote on any poll, the votes are anonymous unless you vocally express your vote. They would work the same way in this capacity. No one would know who gave them a 1, but they just might have one and the reason for it could be as stupid as a post you don\'t agree with in lets say a religion thread, or because a friend of yours on the board told you to give some guy you didn\'t know a 1. If the votes were not anonymous and you could see who voted what for you, it just might lead to a little bit of courtesy.

that would lead to people begging MM for a good rating, and then they\'ll be pissed at him if they recieve a poor rating. And let\'s face it, I doubt that MM will want to spend his free time rating members.

Hmm, it doesn\'t say. It might be automatic. The code might put the rating under the name and there would be a small poll or something. Meh, I dunno. But I think we should try it.
