I hope this (of course, it won\'t be) will be a wakeup call, that no matter what they do people will find a way. They can inconvenience us, but whether it\'s a software or hardware (or marker) fix, people will always find a way to rip their own CDs to their HDDs.

It\'s impossible to protect an audio cd from being ripped. Just redirect your soundcard to your audio-in line on your same soundcard and record it as a *.wav

I think it\'s so darn funny how easy it is though. Usually you have to get a crack, patch, or regkey or something. This is just a darn trip.
Anyone have a sharpee? I gota disc to copy.

heard about this on the news today.... mademe laugh.. if they lowered the price for cds ( i mean musiccs) etc, then maybe peep wouldnt copy them
