Title: New Tomb Raider AOD screens
Post by: ##RaCeR## on May 21, 2002, 02:18:30 PM: Looking really good. I love how this game is gonna be so dark. Its almost like Resident Evil, which is good.

Very Metal Gear Solid esque - love the ledge grab.

I can\'t wait. It looks really good, and really different from the other ones. Instead of fighting mummies etc, its now real people. I prefer a more realistic setting.

Also, could this game tie in with Lara Croft : Tomb Raider 2???

This one shows promise, though, I just read a lengthy preview from EDGE. Seems like I\'ll be getting back to playing TR after all... IF, and only if this one has enough new elements, which it looks to have.

bad excuse for not playing the game......playstation2 will play playstaytion 1 games ,dvd, cds and soon will surf the web :laughing:

Yeah i was kinda getting sick of being in the same setting all the time. This will hopefully toss things up a bit.

Post by: moovingnstereo1 on May 24, 2002, 01:08:37 AM: Tomb Raiders I and II had some dark areas ,,, Tomb Raider III was really dark... in the jungle when you got to the bottom,, in the beginning ,,, i used flares through the whole uderground thing,,,,,,Thames Wharf beginning and end thing and also in the special stage.. ALL HALLOWS if you was good enough to get it ... THE LAST REVELATION had its dark Moments too.. and lets not forget the last 1, Tomb Raider Chronicals where you was in the building in the ventilation shafts and the grave yard thing on and on .. IN other words that is what the flares and glow sticks are there for,,,,,, Tomb Raiders Series have always had flares there for you to use and glow sticks :eyemouth: :bounce: cant wait to light another flare or glow stick wish they would release it soon :bounce:

Hopefully I\'m a little smarter now..(like 2 years ago was the last time I played a tomb raider game, and... I got 3/4 through the game.. and just gave up cause I died so much.. lol)

Movies are great! I also noticed that the floors seem to reflect the surroundings.. looks awesome and I love the way Lara moves. Quite realistic. Can\'t wait for this one.. :eek:
