Title: The Italian Job... too bad this\'ll be lost to E3 stuff
Post by: w1ngman on May 22, 2002, 07:58:53 AM
The Italian Job.  A PS One game -- in fact, perhaps one of the PS One\'s last HURRAHS!!  Quite a fun little game for $10 U.S.

Has anyone played it yet?  I\'m having a blast...but for the devil of me I can\'t get  through "The Getaway" yet!  I keep my damage down...& I get nicked!  I beat the \'ell outta my mini, and...well...I beat the \'ell outta my mini and take too much damage & wreck the mini :(.  This is a tough lil piece to the storyline.  And time & again I make it down into the sewers during The Getaway -- but more often than not those tough-a$$ bobbie autos play havoc with my mini & nick me.

Anyway, for $10 its a great lil\' game IMO.  Setting the "Smoothing" feature on my PS2 even juices up its PS One underpinnings a fair bit.  Forgive me if I\'m speaking on a subject that has already been discussed, but I\'ve not noticed mention of this game on the forums (& couldn\'t get a successful search either) so I thought I\'d bring it up...what with so many non-U.S. members that\'d probably get a kick outta this game too.

Later...
