Basically: - It is normal disc size (i think not bigger) and u know the holograms on credit cards and travellers check how when ever u look at them from a diffirent angle u get a diffirent picture? it kinda uses that with tiny molecules on the disc to get a 3D picture of a molecule and a laser that moves the tiniest bit 2 get new data - thay can hold 400gb! and this number wil get a lot bigger over time and theres is only one that has been made but u will be able 2 buy
them in about 2 years. Also they r going 2 make computers incredibly fast (somehow i dont really understand that bit!)
it says it does the data transfer so fast to the computer, that it is equivelant to the speed that would be needed to download an entire digitised movie in 30 seconds And then it says, if u were to do that with a normal connection, being 56K, it would take several days, so u can realise how much faster it would be, so u have something to compare the speed to, to see how much faster it is.

-
Yeah, it was called Time Warrior or something like that. Used to play it over at my local arcade wayyy back in the day.
I remember hearing something on the radio back when the Genesis was still going gunz about how noone should buy a game console in the next five years because hologram technology would take over and all our consoles would be next to worthless compaired to these high-end systems.
I wish I knew who that guy was and where he was at right now so I could go smack the shyt out of him. Where the F*ck is my holodeck????

At work I use a T1 for the conection and a 650 pentium III. At home I use a 56k and a 233 pentium I. I don\'t care about the technology coming out in a couple of years, I can\'t even get my d*mn hands on the technology out today! :(
