I have my new PS2 since Wednesday night. I can\'t believe I waited this long and bought the Xbox instead of the PS2. Luckily I traded the Xbox in for the PS2 but now have just one game which is GT3.
I gave up 5 xbox games for my PS2 and GT3 and GT3 is the best game of them all. Also IMO the PS2 controller is much more comfortable than the Xboxes.
Last night my wife was watching me trying to get one of the licenses in GT3. She NEVER looked at the Xbox. Last night she asked if she could try out GT3 and to make a long story short I had to beg her to get the controller back. Amazing.
I was just wondering is the Dualshock a PS1 controller and Dualshock2 a PS2 controller? Does Sony make a digital controller?

Congraduations fellow Canadian:bounce:
The dualshock one is a ps1 contoller but it will work on the ps2, the dualshock two is a ps2 contoller and it had special pressure sensitive buttons so the harder you push the more it will register during the game.....not sure about that digital question tho...
Also, Welcome to the Forums!:D

The old PSX controller is digital, doubt it\'s made anymore.

One other thing worth mentioning. Some of you may have heard people who own an Xbox say that their DVD quality is better when watching movies. I heard that as well. This is not true. The picture quality looks identical on both systems. Rented a movie tonight and I was impressed.

well they may have been specifically talking about audio quality. If you do not have surround sound you probably had the volume jacked way up.

Actually they we talking about picture quality and from what I can tell there is no difference between the Xbox and PS2 DVD players in terms of quality. I can\'t wait to get the DVD Remote.

Thompson Electronics makes the DVD component so basically it\'s RCA.
