Title: Pepsi Twist - Tried it?
Post by: ##RaCeR## on May 26, 2002, 04:18:38 PM: I dunno if this is an Australian thing or not, but Pepsi have released a new cola called Pepsi Twist. Its normal Pepsi but with lemon in it.

Its being launched this week in Australia according to pepsi.com.au

Is this stuff out in the US? I love Pepsi, but I am not sure how this is gonna go down.

This is just as bad as when Coke mixed chocolate into their cola here...

BTW..pepsi twist is pretty tasty. Havent tried that vanilla coke yet.

When I was in NYC in February, they were promoting it, and I raided their stands. They of course didn\'t mind, cause they helped me stuff my jacket with sodas. But I had to have taken 1000000000000 leaks that night tho :eek:

I never tasted Vanilla Coke or heard of it, must be a regional thing:\\

Pepsi Twist is a very faint taste if you ask me, but Diet Coke w/ Lemon tastes like a citrus kinda of thing.

Dude, I love flat soda. I think they should market a whole line of soda that have been made pre-flat. I think they would make millions.

Pepsi Blue is soon out in the USA. Is this gonna taste different, or is it just like how you had Red Mountain Dew? Same taste, twisted colour?

Don\'t know if it is gonna have a different taste..but code red does actually taste diff....unless yer tastebuds are out of whack. It isnt far off from the original dew..but it is different.

are yer tastebuds focked too??? PT does NOT taste like coke man, infact, I find it much smoother than regular pepsi..something coke is not familiar with :)

It tastes amazing. Its not too sweet, yet has a very distinct flavour. Its more of a rich cola flavour. Stronger.

ahh..for us in the states..that must be either diet pepsi or pepsi one.

yeah, Pepsi Max has been out here for years aswell, at first I hated it, but a few months ago I tried some, then some more and then I actually started to like the stuff.

It has a very distinct taste, however it doesn\'t give me my much needed caffiene jolt.

Yeah, Pepsi Twist is terrible. I would rather drink Diet Coke anyday. Oh, and strawberry fanta is IMO the best of them.

Around here all we have is Orange and Strawberry fanta. The orange is to generic.

I\'m sure they thought to use real lemons, but it wouldnt be cost effective, and u\'d be paying like a dollar fifty for a 20 oz.

I tried Fanta Orange in the US and its disgusting compared to Fanta Orange in AUS.

Pepsi Blue is just blue Pepsi I think. Sprite is Coca Cola. They both just copy each others ideas ala lemon cola.
