Title: Okay what did everyone think of E3?
Post by: rastalant on May 27, 2002, 02:03:49 PM
Well its was pretty good to me wasn\'t that many surprises except for ninja gaiden, panzer dragoon orta, contra, silent hill 3,  blinx, zoe 2, and mgs2s.  But overall the show was pretty good so far.  So what was your thoughts on the show did it live up to the hype or not?:thepimp:

I always anticipated E3 for the suprise games no ones seen or heard of...blinx was about it (the more I read, the more I like).  IMO, the past two years have been lackluster...

I think it was awesome.. Even tho I didn\'t go.. I read everything about it from IGN.. I knew the games.. and saw all the videos.. that\'s right.. I\'m cool.

But I didn\'t think it was bad at all. New games that I must get now..

I\'m happy because Tenchu 3 was talked about, but besides that I didn\'t see anything to exciting.

I think E3 sucks anymore, we always know what\'s going to be shown.  They need to save some big games for the show and announce them there to shock us all, I\'m sick of always knowing what is going to be there.  It\'s actually become pretty pointless... it used to have some surprises.

I say /flip E3  :o

^^^^ummm.....E3 is really not for you anyway. It is supposed to be an industry trade show to show off the latest software and hardware developments to other industry insiders. Why should they concern themselves with big surprises and the like? A good showing at E3 does not in turn affect game sales. At least not directly.

Yes, but at the end of the day they all know that we are all on the net trying to find out what is new.

I think the biggest suprise to me was Silent Hill 3.  This is at the moment the biggest game that I am waiting for...and I think I will be waiting for at least another year:(

The best E3 ever was the anouncement of MGS2 way back in ....???....???...I can\'t remember it as so long ago, but that was the first time people actually had an idea of what the PS2 was capable of.:)

The PS2 adaptor release date was the only highlight for me, and madden 2003 online.  What about an ea race car game online?  thunder? f1?

Why only madden?
