Title: New screens \'The Getaway\' ?

Note these are caps from a tv. So the screens appear a bit fuzzy. Probably due to it being filmed with a handheld videocamera. Tomorrow the official The Getaway website opens. I have a very
good feeling about this game. The lighting looks superb as well, which creates an atmosphere true to London. I want this game NOW !

Er, thats probably because those are photos of a TV...

Back on topic...

I\'ll have to wait to see how this game turns out in the end based on Aaron\'s new information... I\'m not as interested in it as I was before. Hopefully they get the bugs ironed out before the game is released because this thing sounds pretty fun.

And as far as these screens go they do look quite good, if only GTA3 looked this good. I can\'t wait for the final product, we have all been waiting for years.

Still go there and post in a few threads I find...so utterly **** that I felt like I must respond. Though given the intelligence of the place, my replies mostly fall on deaf ears.

Back on topic, I\'m still excited about this game even with the reported bug. I hope that the framerate problems and so forth are solved by the time of its release. The framrate problem is the only thing that dampers my excitment for this game. Still, on my list of must buy games for now.

I know this game had a bumpy ride up til now. It was a launch
game at first ! And I know that the reporters at E3 played, what
they call, a buggy Getaway code. And yess, the game already
went over budget. But I know that the vids we\'ve seen ARE ingame footage and they showed smooth animation
and good framerate. They really did.
I just wish for the best of this game becuz there\'s lotsa elements
like it\'s visual style, gameplay premise and atmosphere of a quality which suits my gaming tastes very well. It would really be
friggin hell if the game wouldn\'t be any good when it\'s in stores.
So, everybody keep yer thumbs up.
