Just found some pics of Final Fantasy X screens. Wow do they look amazing. Having been an Xbox owner I can\'t believe the mistruths that have circulated about the PS2.
For example how the Xbox graphics are supposed to be so much better. Well just check out this link:

FFX is a great game. I suggest you stop looking at screenshots and pick it up now:D:p

Yep, \'ol PS2 is pretty amazing. If you haven\'t already, I suggest you go out and try FFX. You won\'t be dissapointed.

No Caves here just Igloos. I can get you a good deal on one. And actually I used to own an Xbox and recently traded it in for a PS2 which is great but thanks for your kind words.

Just to be the technical nerd I am, those FFX prerendered FMV\'s would look better on the Xbox because it can output a progressive signal for games while PS2 only does this for Tekken 4 (which is only out in Japan). FFX and all other games are interlaced.

What an arrogant lad you are! The average Canadian per capita is far more educated the than average American, not to say that Americans are dumb, there are vast amount of people in America highly intelligent, but then again we are speaking of the average joe. We have a better education system, my friend more people here (per capita) attend university and complete it than in the states. Technology wise we are right up there with the Americans after all we are neighbors.
Take this from a guy who has live most his life in NEW YORK and Seattle, and who now currently resides in TORONTO Canada, which by the way is a much nicer city than Seattle, or Chicago.

must....resist... from ...putting...down...pre-rendered....FMVs.
FFX does look great, unfortunately (or fortunately if you like FF games), it plays like the other FFs, though. This time with a sphere grid to do your leveling up, which is pretty cool for half of the game, til you realize how linear the game is.
Enjoy.
btw, DVD playback on XBox is better, ask anyone who owns both, but be happy in the fact that PS2 has it included and it is an add-on on XBox.

Once you actually play the game you\'ll form a different opinion. The FMV\'s are spectacular and well worth wadding through the drab story, muddy graphics, occasional slowdown, and bad voice acting...
I wouldn\'t have said anything but you had to go and drag Xbox into it...

Actually just to enlighten you more my reason for mentioning this is that the PS2 has taken a beating on Xbox websites and much of what was said isn\'t true. Thanks for not closing the thread and letting it die. I can tell you from experience that death is over-rated.

I\'ve given up arguing with people like this. I could mention that it runs at 30 FPS, and that it slows down pretty horribly at times, and that the in game graphics really aren\'t that slick and that these screens are cut scenes, but I won\'t.
