Man i hate this, there are never any openings at EB. I just wish i could work for like half pay or something. Man i love that place. You all know you agree with me.
-
No way in hell would I work at EB. You get heaps of freaks in there, and EB employee\'s know jack all.
You an idiot if you want to work there. The only reason I would even consider it would be for the discount. But I don\'t buy many games anyway...
Can you imagine talking about friggen games all day everyday?
-
Actually my local game store talks about wrestling constantly.
-
Well, at my local EB, there are lotsa really freaky people.
One time, I had this 40 year old guy tell me all about how he got some secret character in Mortal Kombat 2, and how he felt so proud.
Its people like that that give gamers a bad name.
-
i would never work there
game store for the ignorant masses is what they are
you\'de be better off working at the game section in wal-mart then at EB
-
Gaming snobs, I love it!!

Yeah, maybe with the discout the games there would actually meet the MSRP. The EB near me is way overpriced, I alwyas just go to BestBuy. Not to metion they are bias. Just before Christmas I can remember walking in there and they told me the Xbox was 8 times better than PS2. That place is a joke.
-
Well, the EBs near me aren\'t nearly as bad as you all make them out to be, but there are other places like that I\'d much rather work. A place like Best Buy would be better for example. More space, more variety.
-
I wouldn\'t mind working there. It seems pretty cool.
-
the only good thing about working at a video game store is the rebates and MAYBE going to E3
:hat:ScottyJ:hat:
-
EB is filled with nothing but idiots who will do anything to try and sell you the system that is selling like crap, even if the system sucks. Why the heck would you want to work there... man that would be hell.
-
So why dont you "Intelligent gamers" take the jobs at Eb and change the employee inteligence?:D
-
well i rember i tried to get a job there, i know quite alot about games ec, instead they get the job to some **** who knows **** all about games
-
The one where I live has two girls that work there all the time, and never offer any help, I get more help at freaking Wal-Mart
-
The EB stores near me are awesome.
I know the people that work there and they rule, funny, knowalgeable, friendly......
You must be in the wrong spot, but the prices are MSRP.
-
EB trains their employees with the use of a M$ agent.
-
Wow...i duno what EB you guys go to but at my mall the guys are mellow. Yea you do get freaky customers but hey, it is better than my current job..."cart pushing" I just thought it would be fun to work with some gamers, thats all.
-
KOPKING is right they do hire idiots that know nothing about games,, and pay them well... there are a bunch that has never even played a video game working in jobs selling games ...
walk softly and tote a big stick while shopping
:D :D :D
-
I\'d work at EB for two reasons. Discounts and for I could try and deter people from buying crappy games...Thats about the only reason...
-
I have an EB right next door to my nearest Wal-Mart. The people there are very knowledgeable (?) about all things game related. I dunno what kinda freaks work at the above mentioned stores, but I love going to mine because the guys (and gals) working there are a lot like me, not just some random employee.
-
I think your job at EB is to sell all, especially stuff that is sitting on the shelf for too long (Hmm what console would that be?).
Yeah at my EB or really Soft Etc which is owned by EB now, some of workers are mad cool and fun, some are dorky and some barely even play games. But they do have a PS2 hooked up so they get to play all the games.
-
I don\'t shop at EB anyway.
