Good stuff man. Are those original? Or is there some sorta program that makes it a breeze to create things like that?
-
You did those yourself? They are really good. Good job man.
-
They are original. None of those are fractals. They have all been created by me, everything from terrains to lighting. All materails too.
-
Trees and cat tails are plugins though.
Look nice.
Water is a bunch of square waves. Why?
-
As Darth Vadar once said- \'Impressive\' :D
-
What program do you use to make these?
-
Very good, your work has improved a lot.
\\/apor, my guess would be that he\'s using Bryce and/or another 3D program.
-
Nice work RACER! What program did you use? I think it\'s MAYA but not sure. The terrain is cool and textures are good too. Anyway, what I like the most, is those plants (really really nice).
You need more practice in water and atmosphere. If you want any examples about this tell me and i\'ll send you by email.
Great work mate ;)
-
BTW Racer, I\'ll try and make some pics too and post them here. :)
-
No, I didn\'t use Bryce this time. I am using a program called Vue D\'Esprit 4.
Its a pretty intense program. I use Rhino 3D and 3DS to import things. The reason the water is square looking is because I was trying to get nice looking \'edge\' waves. I suppose I need to work on the bump map.
Yes, I find atmospheres really difficult to get to look \'real\'.
I like the atmosphere in the second one though. Anyone else do this sorta thing? Post your pics!

Ah yes, I should have seen it was Vue d\'Esprit. Too bad it runs so unstable on my rig.
-
Let\'s try to post the picture I\'ve made for Racer: (take a look of the waves :p )

PD: bah the pic doesn\'t work... tell me your email and i\'ll send you the pic...

Those do look really good. I gotta get a program that can do that stuff and...well, start learning.
-
Adan, I can see yours, it looks really good.
What did you use to create that? Was that mesh fractal?
Yes, very good bump map, I like it. I am actually doing accouple more at the moment. I will post them when I am done.
-
Very nice Racer

Does anyone here have the free 4.06 update to (or any update higher then 4.0) to Vue D\'Esprit?
I am finding its crashing alot more, and I need to see if I can make it more stable.

Just download it from their website.

Nice then. Can you post the pic Racer? I can\'t find any good server..
-
not too shabby...
you could also try "Terragen"... free program from
http://www.planetside.co.uk/terragen
pretty simple to use... not many exporting options yet, but they\'re working on it...
I am eyeball-deep in Maya and Max4 and will have something cool soon....
-
very cool.. you are defientely improving a lot!!!
-
Yeah, I tried Terragen. Its pretty basic though. I want something challenging.
Gives good atmosphers though.
What are you doing in Maya???
