Title: Doom III?

I do realize that this game is possibly not coming out for the ps2, possibly just for the pc and xbox, but I saw pictures of it and I was really really surprised..  People at ID actually making decent looking games...  I dunno.  The original Doom had me hooked on it for a long long time.. and it just brought back some thoughts and ideas about it..  Its probably old news to everyone here..

Maybe it\'s a good thing it\'s posted here again. Question: who here recons that this game is possible on PS2 without any sacrifices except for the resolution?

Wow! Thanx jerk;) Really appreciate it.  I thought perhaps I did fail to mention that it was probably old news to everyone:rolleyes:

Old news. :p Anyways, while I doubt its coming to the PS2, not a problem. Doom 3 is built for the PC, and is probably best played, on the PC. Xbox? Some are questioning whether this game would even be possible on that system. :eek: Can\'t wait for this game either way.

This game looks sooooo good, don\'t have words to describe it.
I just hope a P4-2.53 will handle this game at a good clip. I would hold off the upgrade of my PC, but i hate waiting for Photoshop to finish its crap. :laughing:

well, not to imply that I think it would be possible without a hit - IMHO, the textures would be the main problem on PS2. ;) And... I really don\'t know on which hardware Doom 3 can be played yet. If it\'s a GF3/Xbox setup, then who knows? If it\'s above that, then I doubt we\'ll see this quality on PS2 games.

BTW; what\'s so wrong about my question? I find it quite a shame that questions like these don\'t find much discussion in here. Maybe I\'m more used to the ArsTechnica/Beyond3d approach of things... you know, where people actually discuss these things without feeling the need to boost their console or bash another.
