Title: Close all those specific game forums

I really dont see the need for them anymore,  Hints, Cheats and Questions doesnt get many posts either so let all of the people who want help with those games put their posts in there.

I agree these forums were a great idea when the games were first released, but they arent new anymore.

Yeah, I\'m all for that, GTA3 and MGS2 are well and truely dead now, just posting grounds for all the idiots that recently have been banned.

keep the ffx one. move the mgs2,gta3, and vf4 back to the main forum

First of all.. who cares?  Second, those posts dont belong in the main forum anyway.  They all go to the Hints forum (replying to Kopking as well)

keep the FFX and VF4 forums a bit longer.

I\'m just wondering, what happened to all the posts that were in those game specific forums?  Were they just deleted?  If so it seems like a waste to throw away that information.  Perhaps someone will join the forum in the future after just buying a PS2, and they will be playing through GTA3 or FFX for the first time.  Or like me, some people simply haven\'t purchased all the games right after they came out, but they might buy them later.  I wouldn\'t mind being able to read those old posts at some later date if I need help with something.

It would be nice if we could have one forum category called "Game Specific Archive" or something like that.  The old unused game-specific forums could be moved to reside under that title.  That way there would only be one row occupied on the top-level forum list, and all the old posts could still be read by drilling down to the archived old forums.

I\'m a librarian, and information preservation is important to me.

the forums, and the posts wherein
are still there

you just cant "see" them
