Who\'s gonna win this saturday?
I got Tyson by knock out. Lewis has a glass jaw. It takes more than a few rounds to hurt or even KO Tyson.

same here... while i like lewis, i think tysons\' gonna lay him out in the 4th or 5th.

If Tyson is going to knock out lewis he has to do it in the first 3 rounds, thats how I see it. Im hoping Lewis wins and Ill be watching Live ( £15 ) but Tyson\'s an animal ,so you need know.

Boxing fans all know Lewis can fight, he has heavy hands, he has the potential to knock anyone out, but he prefers to play a " chess " like game, and I feel if he does this against Tyson, Tyson will kill him, he has to be a fighter on saturday not a boxer. I really cant wait, I got England Vs Argentina on friday then the big fight on Saturday. I know it starts at 10pm and im pretty sure it ends at like 6am, is that right

I haven\'t really been too impressed with Tyson as of late. They aren\'t even letting him see the press, which is smart so he won\'t go psycho on someone. I have Lewis by decision, no one is getting knocked out in this, and Tyson can\'t last deep into the late rounds.

Someone needs to post updates during the fight. I\'m not paying $60 dollars just to watch an old man fight an extremly boring fighter.

I really hope Tyson wins. Sure, he may not be the best person, but they made a damn good videogame based on him. Besides, it would be good to shake up the division. I think Tyson can do it too. In his prime, Tyson would have killed Lewis. I just hope he can recapture a bit of his former self.

well i aint voted, but it hink if lewis doesnt get knocked down in the first few rounds he will win......... i mean tyson will start very attack, and lewis will have to wheathe the storm, but if he manages to stay up for the first 4 rounds.. i think hell win

Remember EVERYONE said Tyson would destroy Holyfield and look what happened. I voted Lewis by decision, he\'s a big man. But I wouldn\'t be surpirsed if he got KO\'ed by Tyson. :eyemouth:

After seeing Lewis fight lately I think he\'ll win. He\'s a beast.

Lewis to win, either on points, or by a late stoppage.
This is a fight that Tyson CANNOT win, only Lewis can lose it.
By that, I mean the only way the Yank can come out on top is if Lennox does something stupid (keeps dropping his guard, gets too cocky etc etc).
Tyson may be in the best shape of the decade, but he hasn\'t fought anyone with any real calibre, the exceptions being Galota & Botha. If he is not conditioned to take a punch from a grade A fighter, and apart from the afore mentioned pair, he hasn\'t really beet toe to toe with any real class, those heavy shots will take their toll.
This is going to be one of the most predictable fights of all time. Tyson will come out with both guns blazing, trying to do to Lewis, what he did to Francis, Saverese & co, to take him out from the first bell.
With Lewis IT WON\'T HAPPEN.[/COLOR]
He will simply cover up and ride the storm.
If Tyson gets caught with the same punch that put Rahman out, it will be "Game over, insert coins".

My opinion is wrong now? I said i don\'t like watching Lewis fight because he\'s boring...you can\'t tell me my opinion is wrong.
I like watching boxing matches when both people go swinging at each other aggresively looking to knock each others heads off. That\'s entertainment.

Tyson said he wanted to eat Lewis\'s children. he ate a chunk of ear, he bit lewis\'s leg and he want to feed lewis\'s his own hert, whats up with Tyson and eating. Is he hungry, I know he\'s in debt but Im sure he has the cash for a happy meal :D

I saw the Lewis and Holyfield fight and Lewis would not go down. I don\'t think Tyson will win by K.O.... This will go all rounds. Lewis by decision.

Absolutely everyone I know wants Tyson winning this thing. That might have something to do with the fact that he comes from an area about half an hour from here, but still, that\'s saying something. Tyson is good for the sport. If Lewis were fighting anyone else, it wouldn\'t get this type of attention. Love him or hate him, Tyson draws attention and sells PPVs.

If you don\'t want to pay for the PPV then go to Hooters, they are showing it free. Plus your surrounded by hot chicks. Can\'t lose in that situation.

Just the undercard so far. The main event should start around 11:15 or so.

The fight is about to start now. I can post round by round updates if you want.
Round 1: Well, I thought Tyson looked the best early on. Lewis tied him up entirely too much. Both landed a few punches, but nothing major. No combinations were really landed. This round goes to Mike. 1-0 Mike
Round 2: Lewis dominated this round. He landed some good punches, and kept Tyson from landing practically anything. He had a nice uppercut-jab combo to end it. Tyson isn\'t aggressive enough so far. This round goes to Lewis. 1-1
Round 3: Tyson is cut, and that seemed to ignite him. Early in the round, he took some more punches, but after getting cut, he seemed to be able to land some good punches on Lewis. The commentators were pointing out that Lewis started looking like he did in the first Rahman fight towards the end of the round. Lewis is still looking good overall though. The fight has mainly gone his way. This round goes to Lewis. 2-1 Lewis
Round 4: Lewis landed a bunch of right hands, and Tyson started to look a little dazed and confused out there. The fight seems to really be going Lewis\' way. Mike is not fighting well. He isn\'t avoiding Lewis\' rights, and he isn\'t throwing enough punches. Unless this changes, Mike is in a lot of trouble. Mike went down at the end of the round, but they ruled he was pushed. Lewis lost a point there for hitting him in the back after pushing him down. This round goes to Lewis, Lewis is deducted a point. 2-1 Lewis
Round 5: Lewis got cut here too. Tyson is clearly in trouble though, and looking bad. Lewis seems to have backed off a bit, and is looking for one shot to end it. Tyson is doing nothing right now, and Lewis is just having his way with him. This round goes to Lewis. 3-1 Lewis
Round 6: Mike has taken too many right crosses to count. He\'s barely landing a thing, and when he does, it\'s one punch at a time. Lewis is just staying outside, and punching away. He\'s making it look easy. Mike is gonna have to knock him out, and soon, if he wants to have a chance at this fight. He looks totally confused in there. This round goes to Lewis. 4-1 Lewis
Round 7: More of the same. Tyson has no control over the fight right now. Lewis is just missing those big shots now. It\'s only a matter of time it seems. Lewis threw an illegal punch during the round, and Mike hit below the belt once. Anyway, Lewis is dominating. If Tyson doesn\'t knock him out soon, there is no chance. This round goes to Lewis. 5-1 Lewis
Round 8: Reports that if this gets much worse, Mike\'s corner will throw in the towel. Lewis recorded a knockdown, but Tyson was ok. Lewis then landed a series of punches. Lewis then knocked Tyson down, and he couldn\'t answer to the ten count. Lewis wins by knockout in 8. This was probably the worst fight of Mike\'s life.

Lewis knocks Tyson out in the eighth, though they are saying he is the best of this era, well if he would have fought tyson win he was 20 lewis wouldnt of lasted a round.

Yeah. Tyson in 88 or so could have beaten Lewis in his prime easily. Unfortunately, Mike is way past his prime.

anyone else think it was kinda strange how in the post fight interview, mike whipped Lewises face off? Seemed kinda umm fruity.

Yeah, I saw it on PPV. Tyson won round one, he threw the punches and connected more than Lewis. After that is was all Lewis. Tyson just wandered in front of Lewis, and Lewis was litterally jabbing the sh*t out of Tyson. After that Tyson was just confused the whole fight, and Lewis toyed with his ass over the next 4 rounds. So embarrassing for Tyson, and Tyson fans. Then in the eighth, Lewis got bored and knocked Tyson off his heels.
Now Tyson demands a rematch... In which I\'m sure Lewis will kick his ass yet again.
BTW, I wasn\'t rooting for either fighter, just rooting for a good fight. But Tyson didn\'t do a damn thing.
Tyson\'s antics after the match were pretty kiss ass to me. So saying, "I\'m gonna eat your children" was for promotional reasons? Uh, sure Mike. And then he wiped blood off Lewis, man I thought that was kind of awkward. But I do give him props for not being an a-hole after the match.

Just saw it on PPV too and i am sooooo happy that Lewis kicked Tyson\'s ass !! it was amasacre ! I can\'T beleive Tyson could speak at the end man ... those were some mean hits on the jaw !!!! ouchie !!

Actually the worst hits were above his eyes. He was all swollen up. When he hit the floor blood was gushing from both eyes and his nose.

Bah Will Smith would 0wn both of them...at the SAME time. Hes a BAAAAAAAAAAAD man. ROFL :laughing: All joking aside, me and Ryu saw the end results at TGIF friday earlier tonight. THe fight was already over but they showed pictures of Tyson getting messed up. It ended with the picture of Tyson getting knocked down and not being able to get up. W00t go Lewis. I\'m not much of a boxing fan but here I thought Tyson was some hardcore badass with a biting problem, guess he\'s just another boxer whos past his prime who likes to talk smack...unless the fight was...GASP... RIGGED??? haha thats a thought to chew on. :D

I knew he\'d do it, I never had a doubt.
And another thing, that ref wants stringing up, he was disgraceful, Tyson was doing as much holding on as Lewis was.
Above all else, a referee MUST treat both fighters equally, though it seemed to me that he treated Tyson a little more "equal" than Lewis.

Cotton is one of, if not the worst refs in boxing. He\'s had many contravercial matches over the years.

Did Tyson seem drugged out when he entered the ring? I mean...like he ate a bowl of anti-psychotic drugs. His killer attacks were non-existant.
If you guys listened to Bobby Chez(sp?) he was right on about the Ref\'s treatment of Lewis. Lewis, in the beginning, was doing a lot of holding! Then later on, which i think turned the fight, was the holding of Tyson\'s head and throwing a right hook. That was a point deduction.....clearly well deserved. But the damage was done. Tyson did not have his mind set to it once was. He went into this fight as a shadow of his former self. I mean, he threw only three body shots! Those used to setup his left hooks to the head!
Ah....damn.....anyway....the next big fight is Barrera vs Morales! WOO!
BTW - did you guys see the south paw fighter from the Philippines? He fed leather into that guy\'s mouth! Boy! That head popped back hard so many times I thought he\'d die! Anyway, the 2nd round stoppage was inevetible. The lighter weights are the most entertaining of boxing these days (recalls the Trinidad/Vargas, Mosley/Forrest, Trinidad/Hopkins, Gatti/Ward fights).

Great fight.
Tyson was at his prime before he went to jail, now that he has came out he has not been able to win a fight fair, at least against a boxer that actually has some skill. The problem was, when he asked for this fight he didn\'t only get into a fight with a boxer with some skill, he got into a fight with the best heavyweight pound for pound. If anything, this fight was a realization for Tyson. He can\'t fight against todays big guys.
To Tyson\'s credit he did come out strong in the first round and I thought if he could keep it up, he could of had Lewis, but he didn\'t keep it up. It was almost like he got hit one good time and it broke him from then on.
As for Cotton, I have to say he was one of the single worst refs. No standing eight count? What\'d he do? He gave Tyson a standing eight count. Deducted a point from Lewis for holding, yet by round 4 Tyson was holding more so than Lewis. Lewis was even throwing his arms up in the air to show he wasn\'t the one holding. Who got warned though? Lewis..
