I just want to know all of your opinions on this online pay to play deal for some games.

I already do.  $12 a month isn\'t as bad as it sounds.  Hell.  You can find $15 in spare change in one month.

I pay $60 a year to play PSO v.2. Depending on the game, yeah, I\'d pay per play. Most games should be covered by a single fee for unlimited playtime, but games like MMORPGs and such which require regular and heavy maintinence I can understand paying extra for.

Heck no.  I am not getting into everquest or any of those games.  I will get addicted and never see the light of day.

Yea, after recovering from the old[/u] Phantasy Star Online, I just completely stopped playing videogames because I missed so much of my life.

I said that it would depend on the game. But intrestingly enough, being the huge Square devotee that I am, FF11 isn\'t perking my intrest enough to pay to play it. Monthly fees are kind of a turn off.

I also think that they should charge you only once for playing online games. Pay an extra 5 or 10 bucks for the game because paying a montly fee just suck\'s! Imagine that first you are going to pay square 5 bucks a month for playing FF online. Then you are going to pay another 5 bucks to Sega for playing NFL2K3 online. Then Activision another 5 bucks for playing THPS4 online. And this go on and on. You are going to be paying 50 bucks a month in online playing not counting your ISP service.

Sega and Activision wont be charging.  Only Square.  And its for PlayOnline, not Final Fantasy XI.. so when they release other online games you can play them for the same fee..

Yea i know what you mean, I love the series but i have no desire to play this one.
