Title: Favorite PS2 game thus far
Post by: clowd on June 15, 2002, 10:27:39 AM: For me it is between ffx and gt3, but Granturismo 3 comes out on top, the game just has so much quality and replay value

What is your favorite ps2 game so far?

Fighter - VF4 so far..
Action - Toss up between MGS2 and DMC. DMC\'s got the action, MGS\'s got the story.
Shooter - Red Faction (only one I have right now.. Can\'t wait for Timesplitters 2 and Red Faction 2.)
Action2 - How can you forget that lovable cop bashin\' pedestrian killin\' outta control criminal fun in GTAIII.
Scary sh*t - Silent Hill 2 gets the vote.
Unique story and gameplay - Ico!

It\'s impossible to limit it to one game...

But ICO, FFX, and GTA3 are all very close seconds. I love \'em all!

Post by: KillaX on June 15, 2002, 04:25:11 PM: right now FFX, GTA3, and DMC....I\'m playing Dark Cloud right now..........it is pretty darn cool, and Timesplitters....still cant beat behead the undead tho....I usually get 49 and then get killed with 2-4 secs left......re-spawn and time is up! I find a corner and let them come to me with the crosshairs on.....i am getting good with the analog pad and aiming.

but id go for gta3, as it has loadsa differnt types of game play/.... as in car driving, 3rd person etc

but there are other games that are very good

That\'s horrible. In order to be included with us PS2-geeks, you must buy a new games every 2 days.

" is a great game really. Has great depth and can keep you playing for hours and hours. The ending was great too, and the storyline was superb. " ROCKS!

My total mileage is 23000, which is the equivelant to about 80 hours of gameplay, ive collected all the cars, 100% complete and got 45 golds on the licnese tests, and i still want more!

This game is so good, im considering buying 5 more PS2s and 2 more tvs to play it 6 player i link now with my chaps, and vs others on the internet with gt4...too bad that will never happen

anyways i cant wait for gt4!

i am looking forward to racing otherrs on this board, like shdknfvfdlvvsl, to see if im really as good as i think i am

i just hope sony lets you race you tuned cars, wing package, springs shocks etc, instead of default arcade cars like in its 6 player i link

ive got 2 things i wish they could add in gt4, they need to have 3d dashboards, with the steering wheel, etc, and more cars on the track, but who cares if they dont add it gt3 rules all racing

They could also add tread-marks for wheelspin and slides, learning to power slide\'s the most fun part of GT3, rounding a corner the whole time facing straight at the apex is v. satisfying.

what do you mean by proper rolling road for testing power?

the test course is 6.4 miles long lol

also i think there should be damage

My fave game at the moment is GT3 too, I\'ve been playing it like there\'s no tomorrow lately... Sickeningly fun with the Logitech wheel, though I\'d love a gearstick, which I\'ll be working on... ;)

Overall, my fave PS2 game has to be DMC. One of the best games ever, probably would end up in my Top 3 list.

yes.. that\'s my one top 3 games.. That and GTA3. Ahh I can\'t wait till DMC2.:bounce:

Post by: Hawke on June 18, 2002, 11:51:26 AM: DMC is one of the 4 PS2 games that have really delivered, and not let me down in any way (the others being Silent Hill 2, Rez and Burnout). I wouldn\'t mind if no other games were released next year, as long as DMC2 turns out at least as good as it\'s predecessor.

I wonder if there\'ll be a demo of the game with a bog-standard Konami title? :p
