You heard me right. Alas it\'s not the old-school version but revamped & still based on the series. Not bad news at all. He-man.org has a trailer (http://www.he-man.org/news_images/motu_trailer.rm) for it. Lookin good, just wish it had the old music. First airing on Fridays Aug 23, then daily on Toonami in November.
Used to watch this show when I was a youngin. It\'s probably why I\'m so manly, now kids today can grow up to be manly too.

to heck with that bring back ROBOTECH! the only reason why they wont is because Roy Fokker Dies.....pansy cartoon network....they show goku and the DBZ guys "dying" but the kicked off robotech for the same reason.....WTF! we should get a petition going to get robotech back on Toonami where it rightfully should be (it was one of the original shows on Toonami BTW)
:hat:ScottyJ:hat:

But you know, when Goku dies, he either evaporates, or gets totally incinerated :D
That, and he only dies what, twice? Darn. Only 2 times...Krillin dies like 4 times. Hah, stupid dotted head man.
See Yuz.

Cartoon Network is getting better at stuff like that. Back in the day they had to say crap like "phazed into another dimension" instead of "he just died". And a lot of Gohan\'s earlier fights were cut down because of violence towards children (he was only 5 or 6). But nowadays they are getting to put much more out. I like watching Cowboy Bebop and DBZ, cuz they are not cut as much. You never know, if you start a petition, they could show it during the Adult Swim hours. I\'d back ya up. :)
As far as He-Man goes, I loved that show as a youngster. I doubt I\'ll watch the new one, but nostalgia is nostalgia. I think I\'ll go rent the old movie. That was good.

IMHO on the adult swim they should have the UNEDITED versions of DBZ (the infamous gohan peeing on Krillins head in Deadzone as an example) (I rented the unedited version at a local rental store (for some odd reason i cant find it now.....)) , dragonball (the famous Crazy cow maneuver by master ros....i mean Jackie Chun), tenchi Muyo (you can tell they added clothes in the sauna scenes), and Outlaw Star since it is on late-night.

And just to throw in some more Krillin-related antics, when Freiza spears him with his horns...that is REALLY drawn out in the Japanese Version (something like 3 minutes or so, really greusome), instead of the spear and throw mechanism that is shown on the Edited Version. Gets it\'s point across, though...Gohan gets pissed, and kicks some ass. Rightly So.
See Yuz.

Gi-Joe (the original) is also coming back to Cartoon network, so hopefully we will also see a season box set of that pretty soon. Which by the way, the TransFormers DVD box set is sweeeeeeeet.

Yep, I seen it. They go to a close up of Freiza\'s face, where some blood dribbles into his mouth and he licks it up. It made for a much greater emotional impact.
Why aren\'t they fully unedited? I, like most, can spot where things were covered up and such. But its called Adult Swim, so give it a reason to be adults only.

Well, in the Toonami part of adult swim they show Cowboy Bebop, Gundam (forget which), Pilot Canidate, Outlaw Star, DBZ, Dragon Ball, and some others I\'m sure I\'m forgeting. They aren\'t unedited, but they are slightly less edited than normal.
As far as what they get away with:
-actual guns and bullets (a big no-no for cartoons)
- more blood
- a little gore (just a little, like where Spike got shot up in CB)
- a little sexuality (boobs jiggling, thongs, underwear, and scenes of before and after sex.)
- mild swearing (damn, hell, etc)

That all sounds awesome! And Cowboy Bebop is on that? I\'ve always wanted to see what all the talk is with that.. I really gotta check it out! Thanks dude.

Cowboy Bebop kicks ass. The word funky doesn\'t even begin to describe it. :)
Watch it and see what I mean by "funky".

Is it on every night? I guess I could look at the guide on directv, but this is easy enough.

I know it comes on Sundays for sure, it used to be on Thursdays, but I\'m not sure anymore...hmmm..
See Yuz.

Cowboy Bebop is the coolest anime series ever, in my humble opinion. I\'ve got the Perfect Session DVD boxset and adore it. I got one episode on Adult Swim and after that I had to go buy the series.
Faye Valentine...

The Japanese DVD for it is out , the US version has still not made it out though. On the bright side, Paramount has bought the rights to it and has said they are commited to giving it a true theartical release (woohoo!). If you are still skeptical, pick up the Metropolis (anime) DVD and under the trailers section there is a trailer for "Cowboy Bebop - Knockin\' on Heaven\'s Door".

The adult swim anime line up starts at 11:00 pm on saturday nights. The line up has just been adjusted to:
Yuyu Hakusho (sp?)
Cowboy Bebop
Gundam 0083
Moblie Suit Gundam (finally! Its been like a year!)
Outlaw Star
Pilot Canidate
... in that order. Not bad at all. Oh, and be sure to catch Hamtaro weekday afternoons. ;)
