Ok you\'ve just purchased a cd player for your car and it comes with a 5 disc changer. You can only chose 5 cd\'s to listen to for the rest of your life. What would they be?
In no particular order:
1. Metallica - Master of Puppets
2. Metallica - Metallica
3. Eric Clapton - Unplugged
4. AC/DC - Back in Black
5. Metallica - And Justice for All
Yes Metallica does kick ass. :)
-
Dr Dre - Chronic 2001
311 - From Chaos
Nas - Illmatic
Eminem - Eminem Show
Xecutioners - Built from Scratch
These are the ones that I\'ve been listening to a lot lately.

While only choosing 5 albums..quite tricky. But since this is tricky..I\'ll be just as tricky.
I\'d go DL a grip of songs.
1 current pop/r&b
1 hiphop
1 old school r&b before most of us were born
1 early 90\'s altern.punk
1 techno/trance/house
chew on that biatchez...

Tool - Lateralus
System of a Down - Toxicity
-

Ya i know, Eric Clapton is good though. I like listening and playing his music on guitar. Hes a great song writer and almost all of his songs sounded better unplugged.
-
Green Day- Kerplunk
Weezer- Blue Album
System of a Down- Toxicity
Queen- Greatest Hits album
Pearl Jam- Ten
-
3 custom-made CDs full of the very best game music
2 custom-made CDs full of the very best... other music that I like (Jamiroquai, Genesis, Pink Floyd, Dave Brubeck, etc.)
:p
-
Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here
Dave Matthews Band - Before These Crowded Streets
Ben Folds Five - The Unauthorized Biography of Reinhold Messner
The Flecktones - Greatest Hits (I\'d pick a live CD, but only being able to listen to one disk of a two disk album would be.. I dunno, sucky? This one has a lot of variety anyway)
Incubus - SCIENCE
This has to be the hardest. Decision. Ever. I\'m not sure if I want to leave out Californication. Nor do I want to leave out about 20 other ones. Whatever shall I do?
-
Slipknot - Slipknot
Beastie Boys - Hello Nasty
Kings of Convenience - Quiet is the new Loud
TLC - Crazy Sexy Cool
the upcoming Slipknot album ?
-
The Cure - Disentigration
Neds Atomic Dustbin - Are You Normal?
Fugazi - Repeater
Counting Crows - August and Everything after
Tori Amos - Little Earthquakes
-
Every Britney Spears album. No need for anything else.
-
1. Paul van Dyk - The Politics of Dancing CD 2
2. DJ Tiesto - Magik 6 Live in Amsterdam
3. Sasha - Golal Underground 13: Ibiza CD2
4. DJ Tiesto - In Search of Sunrise 2
5. Dave Clarke - World Service CD1
-
TOOL - Undertow
TOOL - Ænima
TOOL - Lateralus
Slayer - Show no Mercy
Slayer - Seasons in the Abyss.
After much consideration I chose these albums simply because I can always listen to these. I was thinking about having Slayer\'s God Hates us All instead seasons in the abyss, however I ended up choosing the latter.

Logan listens to jazz every night and the local station plays the same Dave Brubek song every single night at roughly the same time. It\'s been like this for a year and a half now. Maybe it\'s not every night, but it sure seems it. He kicks ass though.
-
Tool - Laterulas (typo)
Tori Amos - Little Earthquakes
David Usher - Little songs
Nine Inch Nails - Downward Spiral
A Perfect Circle - Mer De Noms
Hard choice really, because I really didn\'t want to leave out any of The Doors, Fiona Apple, Led Zepplin and so on.

Are you talking about Slipknot\'s "Iowa"? If you are, it\'s been out for quite a while.
This is hard, I\'d probably burn 5 CD\'s. Buuut...if that wasn\'t allowed i would have to pick...
Static-X - Wisconsin Death Trip
Pantera - Vulgar Display of Power
Dope - Life
Korn - Korn
Korn - Follow the Leader
Err, then I\'m leaving out a number of Metallica CD\'s, the rest of Korn\'s CD\'s, and some more. Oh well, that\'s what I\'d take.

Sorry, I\'m talking about "Rise Above". Which is still a
working title btw. I\'ve heard rumours about a Halloween
release, but also contradicting rumours about a release
in summer 2003. In a recent Rocksound interview they
stated they wanted to go back to a more basic sound
like their selftitled album, which imo is a good thing :bounce:

Oh ok, i was just wonderin. Yeah I think they should go back to the sound they had in their "Slipknot" CD. It was better than Iowa. I doubt they\'ll release the new CD by Halloween. It\'ll probably be around the summer of 2003 like you said.
-

Tenacious D-Tenacious D
