Anyone try this game yet? Is of Tony Hawk 3 quality?
I\'m a blader, and I\'ve been waiting for a good skating game for a while. Is this game it? :)
Quick! Frontline or Aggressive Inline? :)

Before anyone spazes on me, I was just joking. I\'ll posting some impressions if anyone is interested.

This game has been getting awesome reviews from about every site, however I just want to know how it compares to Tony Hawk 3 (this is in terms of a person that can pull 14,000,000 point tricks in that game :) ) So this game better be good :)

Just let me say that it is almost exactly like THPS3, just on blades. I couldn\'t pull of 14,000,000 points combos is THPS3, doubt I will be able to here. I post impressions tomorrow.

Just some quick impressions (get ready for mucho comparisons with THPS3):
The graphics:
The levels are awefully jaggy and flickery, more than THPS3, but they are bigger than THPS3 levels. The secret areas are usually bigger than the area you start out in. The skater animations are a little jerky, especially on falls and bails, etc. The textures are great, and the characters look nice. The game has a slightly different artistic look than THPS3.
The gameplay:
Not much different the THPS3. The grinding and manuals are the same. The grabs are too. The only difference is the spin mechanics, which can get confusing. The goals for the levels are more skating oriented than in THPS3. They all involve some trick or skating to a certain place.
Sound:
Eh, it\'s ok I guess.
Other:
The game lacks a create-a-skater, but has a a level editor, which I have yet to touch. The menu is kinda cool, though.

It\'s not as good as Tony Hawk 3, but it\'s still a good game.

From my viewpoint, it would have been a good idea to wait for Tony Hawk 4, that series has a history of getting better and better.
Sorry for the delay, I hope you enjoy your game.:D
