Title: Some interesting facts about slaveowners
Post by: Halberto on June 22, 2002, 12:59:23 PM: As it turns out from the 1830-40\'s black slaveowners were owning some of the largest plantation with slaves. There was one that had around 200 working on his plantation! I just think it\'s a little ironic how these freedmen would suffer and then turn around and do the same to hundreds. And there\'s also enslavement in Northern Africa, mostly arabs doing it though.
