Ok, this is my question... From my understanding, there\'s three theorized structures of time.
1. A monodirectional linear structure.
2. Parallel timelines where an invent changed in the past would occur in the timeline that you do not reside in
3. The tree structure. (Example below)

The bottom of the tree represents the begininng of time. And since every decision in life would create different possibilities, each branch will then represent all those possibilities. And so they would all exsist...
Which one do you think might be the correct structure... As for me, I have no ****ing idea!

man I think about his a lot...it ends up just making my head hurt:p
I would like to believe in the monodirectional linear structure of time because i believe that would make time travel somewhat possible.
But i think i currently am favouring the tree structure..partly because it is the most complex structure:p ......science seems to go in that direction. I believe that that kind of time structure also disproves "destiny", something in which i do not believe in.
.....I really wanna talk about it more but i should be studying for a final right now.

I think God only knows the answer to this, so we can just close the thread now... j/k
Anyway, I too, have no F\'N clue. I\'m just a stupid 18 year old who cares about nothing but scantily clad women. :p

I have no idea. I like the third theory though because for some reason I like to think whatever mistakes I made in the past, I hope there would be a time machine invented to I can correct it and hopefully, it would be better. But it would suck if things just ended up worse.
But to me...time doesn\'t exist. Sure, we\'re ruled by a clock, but if you think about it...say you asked someone for the time. By the moment that person gives you the time, it\'d already be a second or two later after then what the person says the time is. It\'ll just mean that the person is giving you the wrong time, and you\'ll never get the right time unless you\'re wearing a watch yourself. But by the time that you look at your watch to see what time it is, you know that by the time you react, you\'re a few seconds late. Oy...headache!

Time is a measurement that resets everday.
A watch is like a ruler, scale, barometer, etc.

I don\'t think we can really talk about a past and a future. There\'s only what happens right now. The \'past\' only exists in terms of memories. And the future? Well, that\'s just the present of tomorrow. :)

I like to believe in the Quantum Theory(The Tree) it has not been proven but there have been some very interesting studies done on the subject.

The future isn\'t all it used to be

Hey, don\'t get Clowd all worked up  . Anyway. I try not to think about it. Then I start to think about it too much then my head hurts. Ah crap. I\'m starting to think again *smacks head repeatedly* . I gotta get an aspirin.
