Title: user texts and avatars are now automized

people used to include nude photos when they PM\'d me about thier avatar and user text, but not lately, so we\'ll go this route

when you reach 500 posts, look in yer profile, and youll see the option to acquire an avatar. maximum size is still 100x100 16k

same goes for user texts, 1000 posts, maximum characters is 30

you can change either to yer hearts content, but please DO NOT abuse this privledge

PM me if any problems, and before anyone complains, i know you cannot use color for yer user title, im looking into it

Post by: shockwaves on June 25, 2002, 04:34:27 PM: There is no way to do it in there. When you give yourself a custom status, it takes away all your stars. I just editted my avatar, and added in a few stars on top of it :)

Edit: I have 1234 posts! Woo. Never gonna see a pattern like that again...

I dont understand...everyone usta be so anal about this. Why the change? If its not broke dont fix it.

when you reach 1000 posts, the option to change yer title appears. plus i always hated stars, but if they\'re important, look at shockwave

At the top of ur screen go to UserCP/user options then go to the bottom and change avatar and select the option to host or upload from your computer.

I would go to user profile and click the reset option. Then reload one avatar.

you lose yer stars

if there that important, just do what shockwaves did

at least now, you can alter yer pic and title all you want

Unfortunately for you and me, we don\'t have that option yet because we haven\'t reached 1000 posts. So I pm\'ed Soulgrind and asked him for help. Once we open the status option, we can change to our hearts content.

BTW, nice avatar. :)

make a custom profile field which can only be 7 character long for the input...

Call it Custom Title Color

In that field they can type the hex of the color they want the title to be...

then find out what profile field it is (can\'t remember how to do it but its not har)

then in ure postbit template find this bit:

$post[usertitle]

then change that to:

$post[usertitle]

instead of the "x" in "fieldx" insert the number of the profile field..

well their is an option in the user cp where it says "custom title color" i think this might be it, but i wouldnt know since i have\'nt reached 1000 posts yet.

why, in my day *wheeze* we had to manually count the 1\'s and 0\'s my boy. we didnt have computers back then *cough*

i learned that the hard way after changing my pic once
